This file contains a new dataset on minimum wages in the EU covering 17 countries during 2007-2009. Data methodology and sources are described in detail in Kampelmann, Garnero and Rycx (2013). The dataset was constructed as part of an ETUI project on minimum wages in Europe ("Minimum wages in Europe: does the diversity of systems lead to a diversity of outcomes?" ETUI Report, forthcoming). The data can be used freely provided that the above-mentioned papers in the British Journal of Industrial Relations and the European Journal of Industrial Relations are cited as the source. We encourage users to alert the authors of any errors or inconsistencies to be addressed in future versions of this database.
