Using articles from our systematic review of research on computer text entry by people with physical disabilities (Koester & Arthanat, 2017a, 2017b), we assessed the design, conduct, and reporting of text entry studies.
5
We critically analyzed study designs, participant characteristics, study procedures, intervention specification, and data analysis, rating 40 indicators for each of 42 studies.

9
The sheets in this workbook correspond to stages of the assessing the design, conduct, and reporting of 42 studies on text entry with alternative access interfaces.

Procedure
24
We defined indicators in each of 6 areas: Study Design, Participant Characteristics, Intervention Specification, Procedure and Typing Task, Measuring Dependent Variables, and Data Analysis and Presentation.
25
Each of the 42 studies in the article set was rated on each indicator.
