Aid Data Dashboardhttp://aiddata.org/dashboardAim: to capture the total resource envelope available to countries to plan for their developmentHow aid fits into other resources (eg. foreign direct investment, remittances) flowing to countriesglobal understandingglobal2Unlike the other aid data tools, it does not just include Official Development Assistance, but also includes other resource flows to the country, and with more resource flows soon to be added. It's unclear how comprehensive the source data is, so unsure how conclusive the results shown can be (you can in "Advanced Search" select the data source, but without being able to directly compare the results it's difficult to really understand what the differences are in the sources. Some labelling difficulties - eg. http://aiddata.org/dashboard#/aggregate/project-thumbnail leaves 'Recipient' empty, making it difficult to know what is being shown. Can search by location, donor, activity, sector; and create maps depending on user inputs to certain filters, policymakers, citizens, and practitionersWith Advanced Search, can select: AidData (Default)

Donor-Provided

Aid Management Platforms (AMPs)

Aid Flowshttp://www.aidflows.org/Shows data from OECD-DAC and World Bank Group members how aid flows to countries compare to other key data sets global understandingOECD-DAC and World Bank Group members only33The principle of including key development indicators alongside aid flows is great; eg. showing ODA received as as % of GNI. Individual data set comparisons can be shown as graphs or in tables, and individual country data can be mapped alongside each other.Confusing dashboard; difficult to see at a glance all the different features that are available, data sets are not (seemingly?) downloadable as an aggregate but rather as small chunks depending upon specific filters selected Compares different data sets; shows aggregate figures for, eg. ODA per donor to beneficiary country as five year average; graphs and tables automatically drawn; can compare countries/donorsGovernments, Organizations, Civil Society, News Media, Researchers, NGOs, General PublicWorld Bank partner groups, OECD-DAC Adobe Flash, HTML5ProductionNoN/AOECD, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and the Inter-American Development BankiPhone and Android App, expanding sectoral and multilateral views

AidView http://www.aidview.net/Global Aid Activities from 227 Organisations; allows Filter by Sector, Organisation, Country or Search

how aid flows to different countries compares on a global levelglobal understandingglobal2Allows you to save items you're interested in to your own dashboard; provides for multi-level filters, including comparing by sector, country or organisation; uses all IATI data; The title doesn't appear in some of the smaller bubbles, which means it's impossible to see what you're looking at without clicking on smaller ones individually; no dates are given, so the time scale for data given is unknown, rendering much of the data without context and not useful (eg. 9 billion spent in country X over unknown time period) ; wider context is difficult to grasp as, obviously, not all donor data is included in IATI and the unknowns remain unknown - ie. seeing that the UK is the biggest donor in Uganda is not necessarily true.Comparing different countries by their aid flows, by sector, organisation and/or by country; can view project lists and descriptions with these filters too Subset of IATI datagoogle charts, google maps, html5, jquery, node.js, XQuery,XSLT, eXist-dbAlphaYeshttps://github.com/whiteoctober/IATIWhite October, Kit Wallacehttp://wiki.iatistandard.org/tools/aidview/start

Open Aid Searchhttp://www.openaidsearch.org/Uses OIPA, consumes a lot of IATI data, not just from NL. Being upgraded at the moment.Aid projects published to IATI global understandingglobal 1Has lots of levels within the filters; (country, region, sector, budget, reporting organisation); Without aggregation features it is not possible to see totals of, for example, how much was spent in Country A or Region B; adding this at the bottom of project lists, or along with the 'total projects' pop up that appears on the map, would be very useful. Multilevel filtering to see project lists (but not locations on anything more granular than a country level); search feature; IATI data Python, djangoBetaYeshttps://github.com/akvo/akvo-flow/tree/master/DashboardZimmerman and Zimmerman, Akvo
