In the past year, Seeds to Soil has been on a remarkable journey, making strides in their environmental stewardship initiatives while nurturing the well-being of both individuals and the planet. Here are some highlights from their impactful programming:

🌱 Seeds to Soil Fellow: Seeds to Soil proudly introduced one exceptional Fellow dedicated to their mission.

✨ PreProBono's 10-Week Fellowship Journey ✨

This year, PreProBono embarked on an incredible 10-week fellowship journey that transcended geographical boundaries. Here's a glimpse into our remarkable program:

🌎 National Reach: Our fellowship brought together 12 exceptional fellows from across the country, representing 4 different time zones.

πŸ–₯️ Virtual Connection: Held entirely over Zoom, our fellows immersed themselves in intensive LSAT preparation from June to August.

πŸ“š Study & Community: Through small group sessions, they reviewed questions and honed their test-taking skills, all while building a tight-knit community.

πŸ•™ Daily Dedication: From 10 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday to Friday, they delved into question types and test-taking strategies with the help of our curriculum sponsor, 7sage.

πŸŽ™οΈ Summer Speaker Series: Fridays were filled with inspiration as our fellows engaged with public interest legal professionals and PreProBono alumni. They shared their journeys, offering insights into the legal world and building connections within our PPB community.

πŸ“ Admissions Guidance: Beyond LSAT prep, we provided comprehensive admissions guidance. Workshops covered fee waivers, personal statements, diversity writing, resume formatting, application timelines, and how to choose the right law schools.

πŸ’‘ Scholarship Opportunities: Fellows were equipped with information on potential scholarships and fellowships, opening doors to their legal careers.

🀝 Personal Support: Weekly 1-on-1 meetings with program directors ensured steady progress and answered any questions on LSAT prep and admissions.

🌐 Community Engagement: Our fellows were connected to the wider Prime Produce ecosystem, with notifications about exciting events like Turtle Thursdays, Noodle Nights, and panel discussions by sister organizations.

PreProBono is committed to empowering the next generation of legal professionals, and this fellowship journey reflects our dedication to their success. 🌟

- Do we want to tag each programming?! How do we want to make sure that what we do and each org can be more complimentary rather than combative? Reframe the org spolights to show the how the ppl orgs are great examples. Village fellowship is not benefiting the orgs directly but directors from those orgs may be called to review applicants.
- what can we do before before this so that guildmates can learn more about how we are approaching this?! (Would we schedule a call to make sure that if anyone has questions we can answer?) Carlos will put this on a loomio that already exists. Will give updated context and link to this schedule. Folks can put their questions in their before Nov. 5. Ask folks from PPL orgs if we can feature them. If so, give us a blurb on the work they do? Under 150words.
- What is the best practice of communication? Would people feel overwhelm if multiple people reach out about this to one person? Contact lists and their sub catagories of lists to reach out to.
- Newslettter - How can PPAC support PPL?! Through newsletter and events. PPL has a newsletter that Jerone can dust off. Folks who have hosted an organization at PPAC can reach out to those project leads about helping spread the word or giving.
- What is the compliance that we have to be mindful?! For profit entities can advocate for npos, not the other way around so we are good!
Folks that have had space grants could use this as an opportunity to fundraise for their fellowship but we can't garuntee they get the fellowship. Can people do their own campaign to raise money for their fellowship here?SelectionPanel and mentors

Can we show how much is raised possible on the site? Nothing automatic right now.

How do we communicate to folks ? Do a weekly check on aplos to thank all the donors and update how far we are to reach our goal. We'll send an update at the end of the campaign to inform folks how progress is going. We will capture people's emails to keep them updated on the fellowship to see if they are interested in the fellowship.
