Individual magazines varied in terms of the extent to which the authors they published have an established web

presence. We've highlighted in blue the four magazines in which uncertainty is estimated to be a good bit higher than
16
average; these are Abyss & Apex, Analog, Nature Futures, and Pseudopod. This is less for quantitative purposes --
17
removing these magazines from the tally still results in a similar average -- than it is to not potentially unduly discourage
18
submissions to those magazines.

The binomial column (F/J) compares individual magazines' unique author percentages to the internal average, adjusted
21
for sample size; 0/10 and 0/100 are both 0%, but mean very different things.
