Please be at church by 9:10. If you cannot perform you duties on your assigned week, you must find a sub and let todd know immediately. Changes will be made on this document as soon as you find someone to swap dates with.
44
45
You must wear a white robe and appropriate "scapular" (long bib-like thing), both of which can be found in the women's choir room downstairs. (just a hint: robes really look a little nicer if you wear something a little more dressy from the knees down) The Bible should be marked to the First Lesson and can be found in the chapel, along with the Cross and banner (or sometimes simply on a table in the narthex). todd will meet you in the Chapel (if not earlier downstairs) at 9:15 to pray together and make sure everybody knows what he/she is doing.
46
47
A few basic reminders: Order is cross, bible, banner, acolytes. The Bible bearer returns to their seat after leaving the Bible on the lecturn and opening it to the marked page. The crucifer sits on the lecturn side and the banner bearer on the pulpit side throughout the service. The Bible does not come out of the sanctuary at the end, otherwise the procession goes out in the opposite order. Please hang up your robes and stoles neatly following the service. Please let todd know if you have any questions.
