Step 1Click here to find out who your State SENATOR is
(upper right-hand corner of the website).
3
4
Step 2Click on the tab at the bottom of this sheet titled "Senators to Call."
5
Find your senator on the list, and the "purpose" of your call.
6
Call your senator and tell him/her that you're a "constituent" (meaning that you vote in his/her district) and then the purpose of your call regarding SCR 40, the Free & Fair Election Resolution.

Example Script:
"Hi, my name is ___________ I'm calling regarding SCR 40, the Free & Fair Elections Resolution. This is a measure that will help us to get a much needed U.S. Constitutional Amendment to end the corrupting influence of big money in our elections. The reason for my call is..."
7
8
Step 3Enter your name and the date of your call, starting with column D.
9
10
Step 4If you can help with more than this one call, contact Derrick at derrick.brace@gmail.com or 708-833-2298. We need as much help as we can get! Only 2 weeks left to get SCR 40 out of the Senate!

SCHEDULING MEETINGSIf you schedule a meeting, enter that in the tab below titled "Upcoming Meetings."
13
We're "stacking" the meetings so that we can take as many meetings as possible every day. If you need to add a row under a particular day so you can add a fourth-plus meeting, please do. (let us know if you need help)
14
Alison Hartson, National Director, should be in every meeting. If you can't attend, it's okay. If you can, she'll be there to support/help you. Be sure to tell the scheduler that Alison will be attending the meeting, and hopefully you.
15
The days that Alison is available are listed on the third tab. Try to keep the meetings to those days and make sure that the meeting will be at the capitol office.
16
17
FOR OTHER REQUESTSIf the office tells you anything other than the standard "We'll pass along your message," enter that into the "Notes" column.
