5	Under Iowa law, this Property Condition Checklist is your opportunity to document the condition of the Premises at the time of move-in. You must fully complete, sign, and return this Checklist to Landlord or Property Management within three (3) calendar days of your move-in date. If this Checklist is not returned within three (3) days, the Premises will be conclusively deemed to have been delivered to you in clean, safe, and undamaged condition, except for ordinary wear and tear. Claims of pre-existing damage that are not timely documented on this Checklist may be denied and may be considered Resident-caused damage at move-out for purposes of security deposit deductions as permitted under Iowa Code § 562A.12.
