Guidelines for Rescheduling Games in Opposite Weeks ( LGFA & Camogie)
80
81
Wexford Camogie and Ladies Football (LGFA) are committed to ensuring that games are played regularly and efficiently
82
and the best way to achieve this is that Both Codes stick to their designated weeks,
83
however it is essential that if Clubs want to reschedule
84
it's done in an organised manner to avoid conflicts and ensure player welfare.
85
Key Guidelines for Rescheduling Games:
86
1. No Back-to-Back games:
87
At no point will either Wexford LGFA or Camogie County Boards allow a player to participate in two games at the same age group of opposite Codes on
88
consecutive days.
89
2. Club Coordination:
90
If a Club wishes to reschedule a game to a week outside the designated Ladies Football or Camogie Calendar, it is mandatory for Both Clubs to first obtain
91
approval from opposite code within the Clubs (e.g. If rescheduling a Camogie match , approval must be sought from the LGFA side , and vice versa.)
92
This includes clubs that have players from other clubs or share players.
93
3. Seeking Permission from County Fixtures Committees:
94
Once Club approval is obtained, the 2 Clubs must then seek permission from the
95
Fixtures Committee of the respective Code within the County Board.
96
3. Seeking Permission from County Fixtures Committees:
97
Once Club approval is obtained, the 2 opposite Clubs must then email their permission to the Fixtures Committee of their respective Code within the County Board informing that they have granted permission. (Ann Doyle; anndoylefixsec@gmail.com for LGFA or Corinna Sheil; Secretary.wexford@camogie.ie for Camogie)
98
4. Inter- Committee Communication Communication:
99
The Fixtures Committee must communicate with the Fixtures Committee of the other code to obtain consent for the rescheduling.
100
5. Adherence to County Board Guidelines:
