| What is the title of your project? | Grammar-guided genetic programming
| How are you and your project doing in general? | Milestone 2 is about to be concluded: Release of five G3P methods in form of a package on PyPI and GitHub. Milestone 3 is under active work: Collecting relevant literature about benchmarking in GP, reading it closely and drawing conclusions of what benchmarks to incorporate and how to statistically evaluate them.
| What have you accomplished in the previous period, and how would you describe your current status? | 1) Created a documentation website for the package, including a detailed Getting Started Tutorial and exhaustive API Documentation. 2) Refactored the codebase for the next major release. Found some subtle issues, wrote tests to capture them for preventing later regressions and then corrected them. 3) Prepared the distributed package for upload to PyPI.
| What are the next steps you are planning? | 1) Finish and present milestone 2. 2) Put together a suitable benchmark collection to determine which of the five methods is most performant and therefore will be provided as service on SingularityNET. 3) Get familiar with how to prepare an AI service for SingularityNET by reading the available documentation.
| Are there any specific events, challenges or successes in the previous period that you would like to elaborate on?
| Do you need any help or support? (Please describe the kind of support and who can best provide this) | Anybody familiar with installing and using a Python package is cordially invited to test the beta release with help of the provided Quickstart Example and Getting Started Guide on the documentation website! Feedback is highly welcome, either as issue on GitHub or message on Discord. |
