39 | Short, dark-haired, takes pains to look unremarkable, dark-grey clothes (never black), slightly twitchy, usually wears gloves, scarf and hat | Reese was born into the Vilani crime family, a medium-sized criminal organization in the Unova region. From birth, he and his parents were targets of both law enforcement and rival organizations, leading Reese to grow to be scared of... well, most things, really. He had no wish to join the family business, or really have anything to do with it, but he never had the courage to actually leave or dispute anything with the family. So he grew up, desperately trying to remain unnoticed and avoid being asked to help with anything. This worked for a while, but eventually he was chosen to take part in a major heist. Unfortunately, said heist ended up going badly wrong and getting most of those involved arrested. Not Reese, though, because he ran like hell the moment the first alarm went off. Unfortunately, this means he's now, as far as he knows, being hunted by both the police and the family, so took on the alias "Tully" and went into hiding. Fortunately, he saw the ad on TV and figured that a deserted island populated only by rookie trainers and a few pokemon officials would be the perfect place to hide out and lay low for a while. | |||||||||||

41 | Tully is an admitted coward. He is terrified of anything that might risk his safety and is not shy about this fact. However, despite his longing for a quiet and safe life, he has a habit of getting into trouble anyway due to a combination of curiosity, loose ethics and being equally terrified of peer pressure - he's just as afraid of being left out of the group as joining it. That said, he is not stupid. While he would love to run away from most threats, he is fully aware that it usually doesn't help and that the best way to get away from a threat is to remove it. So, while he will be the first to suggest avoiding a fight, he'll finish it once he's in it... from a distance, of course. On a personal level, he's fairly gregarious and knows how to make a good impression, or no impression at all, as he prefers, and has a talent for fast-talking his way out of trouble.Furthermore, he knows that there's safety in numbers, so will stand by his friends when they need him. While suggesting that they run away. Much to his Chagrin, the Sandile he was given on the island, named Xander, is a brave, heroic little thing who will always strive to do good and help people. As a result, he has no patience for Tully's cowardice and tends to bite down on his trainer's trouser leg (Well, usually the trouser leg) whenever he looks like he might run away. | Tully plans to live forever or die trying. He is focused primarily on survival and keeping/getting out of trouble. Currently, this means lying low to avoid the Unovan authorities and his own family. He is also always on the lookout for things that can increase his long-term survival chances, e.g. money. | |||||||||||
