• Collection timing may be as late as 11pm, depending on the outlet’s schedule.
• Volunteer MUST be 21 years old or above to participate.

4BicyclesOn-siteAdhocBicycle Rescue & Repair VolunteerRepair and Restore– Visit residential condominiums to assess abandoned bicycles that have been identified for donation, and set aside bicycles that are suitable for repair and refurbishment
– Assist with basic bicycle repairs and maintenance, such as fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes, tightening chains, and checking tyre pressure
– Help assess the overall condition and safety of bicycles to determine whether they are roadworthy or require further servicing
– Support the team in cleaning, refurbishing, and preparing bicycles for distribution to migrant workers
– Provide simple bicycle maintenance tips or basic guidance to migrant workers where needed
– Work closely with the team during collection, sorting, repair, and distribution activities
• Flexible, with tasks typically taking a few hours at a time. Ad-hoc depending on the number of bikes needing repairs.• Basic bicycle repair skills (e.g., fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes, tightening chains) is a MUST, though no professional expertise is necessary
• Must possess own basic bicycle repair tools
• Able to pay attention to detail when assessing the condition, safety, and roadworthiness of bicycles
• Comfortable with light physical activity and handling bicycles
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in community settings

– Coordinate with the IRR team on timing and location, these opportunities will be broadcasted beforehand for you to choose to take it up
