Information:There will be 8 Swiss rounds.
Each round has a 35 minute time limit with a 5 minute break in between rounds. There will be a 30 minute lunch break between rounds 4 and 5.
At the end of the event, there will be a top 16 cut.
The top cut will immediately do the Unnatural Selection draft after the end of the 8th round.

Qualifier Deck Verification

You must verify your deck before the deadline in order to play. Follow the instructions on the following link.
Once your deck is verified, you will receive the "Glorious-You Participant" role in the Discord.
Please allow 24 hours to review your deck. If you have not received this role, there may be an issue.

Glorious You Top 16 (Day 2)

Format/Variant:Archon best-of-1 using the “Unnatural Selection” draft variant

Overview:The top 16 players from the Qualifier will draft houses for their day 2 deck immediately after the Qualifier is finished on Day 1. All players will be seeded into two separate draft pods of 8 players. Players in each pod will choose their pod seat in the order of their ranking on Day 1.

During day 2, each group of 8 will play best-of-1 matches with their archon decks in a double elimination bracket. The winners from each pod will then play a best-of-3 match.

If you do not own a deck that matches the houses you drafted, you may use one of the decks available on the Sanctumonius Draft Spreadsheet. You may also borrow a deck from a friend, but all decks must be verified before the event.

Pod Drafting:The draft pods will be the following seeds:

Pod #1: 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16
Pod #2: 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, 15

Players will choose their seat in the Unnatural Selection draft based on their Day 1 ranking. This will give an advantage to players who perform better on Day 1. The Day 2 double elimination brackets will also be constructed to advantage players with higher seeds (higher seeds will play against the lower seeds in the earlier rounds).

Deck Verification:Members of the top cut will be given a form for deck verification. Your deck must be submitted by Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 9 PM EST (USA). If there is an issue with your deck verification, we will message you.

The decklists of all members of the top 16 will be published on Friday, October 9, 2020 before the tournament on Sunday.

Bracket Predictions:Any member of the Sanctumonius Discord can make a bracket prediction for the top cut of the tournament (including players in the top 16). Bracket predictions must be completed before the tournament begins.
