This file contains a concordance from 2-digit VSIC2007 to 2-digit VSIC1993.

The concordance was created using 2006 data from the annual enterprise surveys (dn2006.dta) according to the following procedure:

1. A 2-digit VSIC2007 was created from the industry variable nganh_kd by truncating the last three digits

2. A 2-digit VSIC1993 was created from the industry variable nganh_cu by truncating the last two digits
6
3. Year end employment (ld13) was summed for each combination of 2-digit VSIC2007 and 2-digit VSIC1993 codes
7
4. For 2-digit VSIC2007 codes that corresponded to more than one 2-digit VSIC1993 code, the one with the largest employment was chosen for the concordance

Three 2-digit VSIC2007 codes were manually added as they did not appear in dn2006.dta:
