Renewable energy sources have become a very important part of electricity production in the Danube Region. However, harnessing the energy of the sun, the wind and others does not come cheap. Significant advancements have been made in the means of energy production. Getting the energy to the users or storing excess electricity when not needed, however, still requires significant investment into new technologies and exploring new frontiers.PV and windmills appear over stylized landscape with houses and industrial buildings and a river in the middle (representing the Danube), or drone footage. More and more pop up during the first sentence, then by the end a bottleneck is shown in the grid (overflowing with electricity), but some of it goes to containers and new grid elements are built resolving the situation.
3
One of the most important challenges is the difference in time when renewable energy is produced and when energy is consumed. Therefore fluctuating energy needs to be stored or utilized outside the electricity grid. In our project, Danube Indeet, two concepts are explored: green hydrogen production and smart vehicle charging including vehicle-to-grid, or V2G solutions allowing electric vehicles to reshape the profile of energy use in time. The scene switches to nighttime and all houses are lighting up - then back to daytime when the second sentence starts, again overflowing electricity goes to electrolyzers that produce H2 as well as cars on chargers with arrows pointing to both directions. Second sentence: nighttime again, batteries and fuel cells providing electricity to the homes.
4
Green hydrogen uses renewable energy to produce hydrogen via electrolysis to ensures the effective utilization of surplus electricity considering the fact that hydrogen can be stored, can be used as a fuel, can be injected into the gas grid, can be used in a number of industrial applications and can also be used to re-produce electricity via fuel cells.

Eddig megbeszéltük
Smart charging including vehicle-to-grid technology allows us to harness the large amounts of batteries not only to power the vehicles but to feed into the grid when needed. Change of scene with a visual effect. Now besides PV and wind, vehicles are visible and there is sign of bidirectional charging. By the second sentence, the picture darkens and windmills stop, but V2G remains. Wider picture comes next, where hydrogen and all parts are visible again.

01:30:00-01:42:00The Danube Indeet model developed within the project explores the technical and economic feasibility of both concepts simultaneously in order to increase the effectiveness of renewable energy generation and consumption.
7
1:42:00Both technologies have their use cases and we intend to investigate how to support regions in the decision-making process. To promote this, the Danube Indeet model will be created. It combines expert knowledge and a data-driven approach focusing on local infrastructure, renewable energy production, electric vehicles, hydrogen economy and many more to obtain ideal green infrastructure setup in terms of operation and economics.

02:07:00-02:15:00 The model will be tested, validated and refined in six pilot regions as well as against theoretical scenarios.Itt van szó a hat mintatérségről (ez olyan 02:50-nél van most)Banja Luka, Ruhstorf an der Rott, Paks, Ulcinj, Alba Iulia,Senec

02:15:02:44The Danube Indeet model takes into account the different energy conversion pathways depending on local circumstances and custom parameters and in a compact optimization procedure analyzes the economies related to each one of them by considering how they could optimally operate in the long run. The model thus supports the decision-making process in investment and operation of integrated e-mobility and hydrogen production in a local community under specified infrastructure and market conditions and mobility needs.a mozgó oszlopdiagramok mehetnének a mintaprojektek helyszínéhez úgy, hogy a helyszínek nevei oda vannak írva

The six models have random parts removed and the size of the remaining parts change, either increase or decrease. Electricity flows are highlighted, the hydrogen also highlighted when mentioned in the text and other elements (electricity network connection points, transformers connecting to larger electricity pylons and compressors producing bottles of H2 are moving - electricity flows to the bigger pylons, H2 bottles/canisters are piled up and transported. If possible, a real-world map should be laid under the graphical elements, then slides allowing the adjusment of parameters should appear and changing one of them should remove some of the elements or add new ones. Then a change of scene would be a meeting room and some people shaking hands symbolizing decision-making processes.
11
Although the core of the project is the Danube Indeet model, the project develops outputs to establish the scientific results on a strategic and policy level across the Danube Region. The model will be validated in pilot actions and will be applied in various theoretical scenarios, thus the market will be explored in terms of investment potential and business opportunities. This helps to underpin possible future development pathways which will be summarized in the Strategy for an integrated energy and mobility concept.Map of the Danube Region - electrolyzers and chargers popping up in several locations and money being poured on some of them. Finally the locations are connected and some pie charts appear symbolizing analysis, then the camera pulls aways to reveal that this is the cover of a document called "strategy for an integrated energy and mobility concept".
12
To gain a better understanding of the perception of the concept in groups such as investors, decision-makers and stakeholders, general acceptance factors will be surveyed. The results will drive further interactions to boost support and will ensure that concerns of stakeholders are taken into account, and to increase awareness of what are the mutual benefits for all. To that end, we will cooperate with different stakeholders to inform and involve our target groups, thus elevating the tangible outputs by anchoring them into policy discourse.People are standing on the previous map and symbol of a survey (question mark on a piece of paper probably) marks appear near them. More people appear besides them and after some time, the question marks disappear, people look happy.
13
We intend to share this information with policymakers, public bodies and all relevant stakeholders to advance energy security in the Danube region and beyond. The results are published regularly on our webpage and social media pages, and you can always reach out to us. Keep an eye on any events we might organize to learn more about Danube Indeet. One person stands speaking and more and more people gather around them. Papers are handed out, then the camera zooms to the webpage possibly.
