Global Academy Course and Extracurricular Requirement Checklist

In order to gain the full transcript designation and certificate for completing the requirements of the Global Academy, students must complete requirements in the categories of Academics, Service Learning, Global Collaboration, and Field Experience. Use the chart below to keep track of your requirements and options to complete the minimum points for each part of the Global Academy.

There are forms to complete for each of the requirements to show your reflection, but this is a quick list to see that you meet the general requirements.

General Requirements:

Academic Requirements:All Global Academy students must complete the 3 Required Global Academy Courses, 3 Years of Foreign Language, a World Studies Course, and 3 additional courses (including 1 additional globally focused course) within their specialization -- 10 points total (8 must be "Global Points")

Service Learning Requirements:Minimum of 4 points toward Service Learning are required and can be gained through a variety of activities both in school and independently

Global Collaboration Requirements:Minimum of 6 points toward Global Collaboration are required and can be gained through a variety of activities both in school and independently
