This is a combined Treasurer's Report and includes both monthly reports and an annual report. The annual report now calculates automatically for both checking and savings accounts. If your club has an additional money market account of certificate of deposit, that information will have to be entered manually on the annual report. If you have any questions about this spreadsheet or if you find an error, please contact me: kmpionek@wisc.edu or 920-683-4172. Go to "File" and then select "Make a copy."

Income

Fundraising: Anything your club does to earn money would be included in this category (brat fry, cookie dough sale, plant sale, etc.) Please note, when you transfer money between checking and savings accounts it is not income or expense - it is just a transfer!

Member Dues: Only use this category if your club charges its members dues.

Donations: If your club receives a cash donation of any kind, please put it in this category. Occasionally, the 4-H Youth Development Educator may need to access a record of individual donations during the last fiscal year. In that instance, the 4-H Youth Development Educator will contact you.

Investment Income: Investment income includes interest earned in a checking or savings account or trust fund, or income from land or other property.

Participation Fees: Income from fees charged directly to participants for the ability to participate in programs, activities, or other services such as a club/group project
meetings, field trip, t-shirts, etc. Participation fees do not include membership dues.

Other/Pass Through: Funds includes fees collected for educational programs carried out by other groups. This money is collected from the member/family and then paid directly to the other group/organization.

Expenses

Fundraising: Any expenses related to fund raising for your club. For a brat fry for example, this would include the expenses for the meat, buns, condiments, license, etc.

Educational Supplies: Any supplies purchased for educational programming would be included in this category. If your entire club completes a craft for example, the craft supplies would fall under this category.

Community Service: Expenses related to highway clean-up, blood drives, or other community service activities would be included in this category.

Recreation: Any expenses related to recreation for your club would go under this category. If a club outing to a roller rink, baseball game, museum or water park etc. is paid for by the club, the expense should be listed in this category.

Other/Pass Through: Pass through funds would be money received from members and paid directly to the county. It would include county enrollment fees and county fair entry fees. Other is everything else not included in one of the previous categories.
