Laurie Anzivine Memorial Scholarship Fund1 award for any in Cattaraugus County, or 30-40 mile radius of Olean, NY, 1 for PA2/$1,000A scholarship program of the Pink Pumpkin Project, this award is for a graduating high school senior from any high school in Cattaraugus County, first preference, or any high school within the surrounding community of Olean, NY, who will be attending a two- or four-year college or secondary trade school and who has had an immediate family member or guardian who has gone through cancer treatment. The student must be in good academic standing. Financial need is not a factor. The applicant must submit an essay of no more than 350 words explaining what the student learned from his/her family member or guardian who struggled with cancer and the impact it left on him/her and what advice the student would give to someone else who may face the same situation. 2

Applicants must include list of outdoors sports in which they participate, a statement on importance of the role of sportsmen in conservation and management of fish and wildlife and natural resources, and information on career path in their goal statement.
Chautauqua Cattaraugus Board of Realtors Scholarship FundChautauqua & Cattaraugus Counties$500Student must plan to attend either a 2- or 4- year college, with preference for students who will be majoring in the business field. The student must have maintained an overall grade point average of 85 or above during his or her high school career and exhibited high academic effort. The student must exhibit certain intangible qualities including: kindness to others, leadership, positive attitude, and sense of humor. The student must demonstrate past involvement in the community. $500 will be awarded first semester and $500 the second semester after the students first semester transcript is submitted.1
Jen DeLong Memorial ScholarshipFranklinville$1,000For a graduating senior from Ten Broeck Academy/Franklinville Central School District who is pursuing a career in or demonstrates excellence in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and music subject areas. Preference will be for a female graduate. Reference letters and a list of extracurricular activities should address the student’s academic excellence or participation in STEM subject areas and band and/or choral music. A short essay should describe the student’s academic and career goals.1
Walter F. and Julia A. Dziekonski ScholarshipFranklinville2/$2,000The applicants must include in their goal statement their career plans and why he or she should be a recipient of this award. As part of the common application the applicants must also provide a list of all financial aid, scholarships, or awards being received. A law enforcement career is not a prerequisite for consideration of this award, but may be taken into account as a tie breaker. Two awards annually, one to a boy and one to a girl, with the amount split equally between each.2
Louis W. Ensworth Charitable Foundation Trust Scholarship for ALCSAllegany-Limestone1/$500; 1/$2,500Established by Louis Ensworth, a former educator, this fund provides two scholarships:
One for $500 award for a deserving student participating in the girls' basketball program at Allegany-Limestone Central School. Recipients are recommended by the high school basketball coach.
One $2,500 award for a deserving student who will attend a 2- or 4-year college or trade school who has maintained a B or better average and has worked hard to achieve their academic success. The recipient will be eligible to recieve the scholarship for up to two years. Recipients must submit their transcripts to verify they maintained a B or better average to continue receiving the award.

The recipient must have participated in one or more Homeless Huskie Night events during his/her tenure at OHS. Community service and active roles in leadership will also be taken into consideration.
Fred G. Grace Memorial ScholarshipAllegany-Limestone$1,000Student must have attended ALHS for four years, be a varsity letter winner and plan to major in business, teacher education or a sports-related field. Student must be accepted by a two- or four-year college, with preference for students attending St. Bonaventure or Alfred State.1
William D. and Catherine Griffin Fraser ScholarshipCattaraugus and Allegany counties$1,000Preference for a graduating senior from Olean High School or Cuba-Rushford Central School, but other graduates from other high schools in Cattaraugus or Allegany counties will be considered; preference for a four-year college, but two-year is eligible; student must be in good academic standing; financial need will be considered; preference for a student interested in a career in the medical field or education, but other majors will be considered. The award amount will be $1,000 per year, renewable for up to four years.1

The student must state in the application how they have demonstrated resilience by sharing how they have overcome adversity from hardships. If they have not endured hardships, they must state how they have demonstrated volunteerism, compassion, and support of others who have experienced hardship.1

Athlete will have demonstrated proficiency/competency in: extracurricular activities, community involvement, citizenship and team participation. The ideal candidate will be a player who was there for the team; a player who was not the team hero, but who came to practice knowing that he may not be in the game on Friday night. Scholarship is not restricted to those planning to attend an institution of higher education after graduation; nominations of those entering the Armed Forces or pursuing technical trades are also encouraged. Award will be given as a scholarship or educational stipend that can be used toward college, trade or technical school or job-related expenses such as uniforms or equipment or travel costs if entering the military. A committee of the Southwestern Chapter of the New York State Association of Certified Football Officials will select the recipient(s) from the applications from coaches.1

The head men’s swim team coach and head women’s swim coach shall have the discretion in selecting the recipient each year depending on the rotation. CRCF will distribute the award amount to the St. Bonaventure athletic department. The recipient should have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. The award amount is $10,000 a year, with students eligible to retain the award for four years. The scholarship is given to enhance the scholarship awards available for SBU swimmers.1
