Brown, Margaret WiseBig Red BarnBond, FeliciaNice pictures in this book. A good book for bedtime. John enjoyed seeing all the animals.4November, 20101 = Didn't like it

Eastman, P.D.The Best NestJohn liked this book because of the ringing bell "BONG." However, we found that the wife bird was not very respectful to her husband. The overall message is good, in that we should be happy with what we have.3September, 20102 = It was OK

Eastman, P.D.Big Dog...Little DogThis is a book of opposites, it was pretty good but not very exciting or interesting (in my opinion)3September, 20103 = Liked it

Hubbell, PatriciaAirplanes: Soaring! Diving! Turning!Halsey, Megan and Sean AddyThis was John's favorite out of the three we got this month. He liked looking at all the airplanes. It was fun and informative.4January, 20114 = Really liked it

Meisel, PaulZara's HatsI got this book because John loves hats. The story line was too detailed for his attention span at this age. However, it was a nice story about being creative are resourceful. He liked looking at the pictures.3January, 20115 = LOVED IT!!

Milord, SusanIf I CouldDenise, ChristopherThis is a cute book about loving your children and wanting to give them a wonderful life. However, it does feed into the child's notion that they are the center of the universe - which isn't necessarily bad, but I'd rather focus on God being the center of our lives. At John's age, I'm sure this book was fine. The text was age appropriate for John - older children might be bored by this book.3January, 2011

Savadier, EliviaTime to Get Dressed! This book was OK, it is good for teaching the names of clothing, but we didn't like how the baby was a brat - saying "ME" all the time. Yes, babies might do that, but it isn't something we want to perpetuate.2November, 2010
9
Seuss, Dr.Green Eggs and HamOne of my favorite books, could be good for dealing with pick eaters. Good for rhyming.5September, 2010
10
Wilson, Karma and John SegalSleepy HeadCute book about going to bed. Mentions praying before bed - which we want to teach John to do.4November, 2010
