BThe OverAchieversAdonis, Monserrat, Kiara, Julio, Christian, YanellaAaron Greenberg, Douglas Gordon, David LeeLifeSimThe game resembles a choose your own adventure game, where the character is a high school student aiming to go to college in the year 2022. The user begins at the “start” screen in which they are prompted to start the game. The user would then be presented with several situations in which they would have to choose one of the options listed as a life choice which will determine how far the user progresses into the game.A challenge we had for this project was finding a way to stream line a number of choices in one HTML page. We talked about trying to have links to link multiple HTML pages together, but this is inefficient and would take far too long for the number of steps available. We decided to then use a main array that held multiple objects, and depending on a counter variable, would change certain HTML elements to the attributes defined in the objects. This led to making more ‘pages’ much faster and efficient. We learn how to properly use objects. At the start of this project, we didn’t understand how to use the multiple attributes in an object to then make changes on the HTML. We learned to then use the value of certain object attributes, call upon them similarly to arrays, and bring it all together. There was NO hard coding at all, it was a dynamically generated single page app, and we managed to use a counter variable, along with the main object array to determine the specific attributes for the HTML.There was NO hard coding at all, it was a dynamically generated single page app, and we managed to use a counter variable, along with the main object array to determine the specific attributes for the HTML. It was organized, streamlined, easy to read, and easy to add onto, by simply adding another object into the main ‘steps’ array.

In terms of impact, our project focuses on the importance on making the correct choices in life. In the future, there will be plenty more opportunities for everyone, no matter the income, but it is still of utmost importance to make the right decisions, and take advantage of the opportunities available. It also brings awareness to the stresses of being a minority teenager in America, specifically in the lower-income parts of New York City.

CJAAMBSSNishat, Tanzema, Myrka, Shane, BriannaAlex Pelan, Alexis Georges, John VergheseThe Future of EducationIn this project it allows for a user or a potential donor to see our idea of how we want to help improve the education around the world. It is to enlighten people on what a person’s life will be like if they do have an education versus if they de not get an education and they don’t have the opportunity to do so. When a person does not get an education they are not able to do what they want to in life which can force them to do something just to make money and to survive. When a person does not get an education it does not affect jest them but also a country. The more uneducated a person is then the harder it will be for the country to grow and prosper. The people that are educated the broader their horizon will be on ways that they can help improve their nation. During the experiment we did run into some problems but it was something that we could all learn from and it helped us to be able to learn from it. For the problems that we encountered we were able to fix it with a bit of trial and error and we all found it fun to problem solve all of the problems. While creating our scripts we were able to learn about the different impoverished areas around the world. We were able to learn about what many career paths are open for people that are not able to get an education. We were able to learn that many jobs that pay minimum wage also requires a high school degree or a GED. For the people that do not have a high school degree only have a very limited career paths that they can go to. Also many third world countries also have a very high uneducated population. A way that we can all help to improve this is by creating a way for people to be able to education. Our project is awesome because it allows because for people to learn why an education is so valuable. It is a priceless thing. It allows for people to be a learn to broaden their horizons to many different world. Our project is so amazing because it allows to open people's eyes to why education a great way to go in life. It does not just help the person to have a better life and a much easier life but a way for them to be able to help their country to become stronger because the more people are education the more it would allow for them to be able to contribute new ideas for new innovations. https://rawgit.com/NSadia/SpringHack/gh-pages/index.htmlhttps://github.com/NSadia/SpringHack

We overcame these obstacles by communicating well with each other and having well defined roles in our teams, including a project developer who was responsible for putting every thing together. When we ran into technical problems like trying to use a library called Particle JS, we worked together to find alternative solutions, and we were able to make a fully functioning app.We learned technical skills like how to incorporate our code in functions, how to append videos, how to make hover appear and disappear, and most importantly how to work as a good team. Our project is awesome because it is the future of ScriptEd's Hackathons - a future where they incorporate both hardware and software engineering!https://cdn.rawgit.com/kirsten/ScriptEdHackathon2099/dfd268fb/index.htmlhttps://github.com/kirsten/ScriptEdHackathon2099

oorionJulien, Kenneth, Jeremiah, Edwin, Cedrick, DanielYining Chen, Dan Applegate, Sophat SamORIONS HANDThis project is informing people about ideas for the future.

Agreeing on the topic, making the pictures float, transitions of the pages, the context in the pages, and finalizing the project to this final stage were some of the challenges we faced.

We learned how to perserve and how important teamwork is. We also learned what line breaks are and how to bring attributes from variables.

Our project would allow users to share their ideas. It's like the best part of facebook and kickstarter coming together, people can donate their time, or money, or anything else they can give.

If we had more time, we should be able to make profiles for the go fund me pages and actually make the future become a reality.
