In September 2013 Nate Adams decided to give Energy Efficiency Specialists approach to Comprehensive Home Performance a shot. The beginning was a little tough as the data show, but he's now making a living that he can support his family on. The process has been fine tuned and costs adjusted, but the outstanding results consumers experience have not diminished. If anything, consumer experience has improved. Customer reviews may be seen on Google Locations and Angies List. Below is some of our project tracking information. Comments and questions welcomed:

Initially 1st visits were free. Consumer buy in was weak and there was too much pressure on "making a sale".Initial audits, while getting up to speed, were loss leaders. As Nate's skills and confidence improved this eventually put perverse pressure on selling, while at the same time removed pressure to do really thoughtful design. As Nate's experience and confidence with process grew we raised price on audit/design step so the audit is not done at a loss. Our visits are primarily delivered by our internet form. We get paid enough for the visit to cover the cost of the visit. Of visits from 1/21 to 6/29 lead:audit ratio has been 67%, and through 6/10 audit:job ratio has been 75%.
