The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is holding a conference, "FORUM 2025", in Austin, Texas from January 8-11, 2025. FORUM is the AIAS' annual design and career development conference where all of our members from around the world gather in a new city and spend a few days together to grow together and develop their voices, ideas, and actions for the future. The theme for "FORUM 2025" is Crossroads (a point at which a crucial decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences). Austin, Texas, the United States, and the World are at the crossroads of the housing crisis, the climate crisis, and dealing with the dynamics of rapid growth. Additionally, FORUM is where the next year's board of directors campaign and are elected. As the only accredited architecture school in New Mexico, it is important that we have a voice in nationwide positions that will impact architecture students.
