About Columns

RoutesEach specific page location in the EE admin system is a "route" (i.e. Event List page is on "default" route). Some capabilities don't have routes associated with them becuase they don't restrict access to a specific route. Hence why it's blank.

Contexts Used InWhenever the EE_Registry::instance()->CAP->current_user_can() method is used, the second paramater is for the context in which it is called. This allows developer filtering the capabilities to only change the capability for a particular contex (so very targeted filtering). In MOST cases the context matches the route in which the capability is called (in the format {page_slug}_{route}). But there are places where the context may be something different.

Related WP Core CapWhen registering custom post types and custom taxonomies with WordPress, the WP API allows for describing a map of core wp caps to the related new custom caps. This column explains what core WP cap the custom capability has been mapped to.
