ADSY PEP FYR: Daily Schedule

This template is intended to serve as an example of creating an ADSY Full Year Redesign daily schedule where every day has adjustments to the amount of instruction for each subject minimum requirement in order to make way for additional brain breaks, enrichment and planning times.

Intended use and considerations:

• This daily schedule sample is intended as to be used as a tool but not a required template on how to redesign your 2023-2024 school year.
• The
daily minimum 420 minute requirement has been accounted for. This ensures that the House Bill 3 requirement of 75,600 operational minutes over 180-day instructional calendar are meet.
• Also, built into the daily schedule is the daily
minium requirement of 30 minutes of daily physical activity for students in grades below sixth grade. For more information see the TEC §28.002(l) below.
• The core instructional blocks are adjusted to meet the product dosage requirements for Eureka Math and Amplify Reading with are the TEA Core HQIM Products.

TEC §28.002(l)
requires students enrolled in full-day prekindergarten, in kindergarten, or in a grade level below grade six to participate in moderate or vigorous daily physical activity for at least 30 minutes throughout the school year as part of the district's physical education curriculum or through structured activity during a school campus's daily recess.
