Required veriffication includes:(1) Receipts of seeds purchased
14
(2) Species, seeding/planting rate
15
(3) Documentation of planting method (farming log and photos)

Application automatically populates your budget with $50 per year per soil sample needed. You need one sample per field. Make sure to enter the correct number. MRCD or MALT can assist with sampling.
18
This grant requires that you take soil samples from your 2 fields before planting seed, and again after one year and two years following initial implementation (3 rounds of soil sampling on each field). You must send these to lab for analysis. MRCD or MALT can assist with sampling.

Non-native forage mix is defined as 'three species mix - cool season and introduced perennial grass'
20
For non-native forage seeding to be successful, plan to keep livestock off of the seeded area until plants get established.
21
You plan to plant seed using a no-till drill. The fields must be accessible for tractors and wide machinery. The fields must not be excessively rocky or steep.
