Number of teams depends on how many people sign up. We think a minimum should be 4 teams of 3 people.

To create teams you need to take lots of stuff into account. Don't worry about getting it perfect, hopefully you'll learn as you go along and run the competition a few times. Somethings to consider are:

How often people already train (you don't want teams where 3/4 members already spend an hour in the gym everyday)

who lives near to each other or hang out already (this will factor into how much they manage to train together)

Where/when people like to work out (if someone lives in one area of the city but works in another and likes to train in lunch breaks knowing this can help you place them in a better group).

What kind of exercise people like (you might not want 3 people who all go to the same gym and one person who loves outdoor running).

The best way to get all this info is through a survey which is also a ‘SIGN UP SHEET’.
