The Israeli authorities (unknown which authority) demolished the renovation (bricks and Gypsum boards) of a 150-m2 uninhabited concrete building built in the 1970s and has been under renovation since early June 2014. The structure, which has been used as a drug abuse center and a dump site and was being renovated through a community-based initiative to be turned into a mosque, is located on the West Bank side of Shu'fat Camp Barrier checkpoint within the Israeli-defined municipal area. During the demolition, the Israeli authorities confiscated renovation materials including building stones and Gypsum boards. During the demolition, also was damaged the water pipes connecting the three families to the nearby Qarzaliya water spring, an oven, two plastic water tanks and parts of a 40m2 barracks that was used as a praying room and was disassembled by the families 10 days ago, and a bag of veterinary medicine. The families had received evacuation orders from a closed military area in 2010 and evacuation orders from a nature reserve in 2011. The families report that this is the third time they experience demolitions, the previous two times in 2008 and 1990s. As a result, 3 non-refugee families comprising 26 people (13 children) were displaced and around 750 heads of sheep that the families own are now without shelter.
