16 December 2019: Israeli forces along with civil administration demolished two story inhabited house and one water cistern (150m3) in Al Khadr. The incident took place in area C allegedly for lacking a building permit.The owner received a stop working and a demolition order by the civil administration in 2017 and 2018. The family lost all their belongings under the rubble. 10 olive trees were uprooted and part of agricultural terraces were demolished during the incident. One family comprising 10 members including 6 children is displaced.

The owner submitted a legal case and applied for a permit after receiving the first stop working order. The owner stated that he has an injunction over the house demolition.

Needed mainly for the children of the displaced family who were affected by the demolition.

14 February 2017: A Palestinian family was forced to self-demolish two livelihood-related structures for lacking Israeli building permits in a section of Hizma village that falls within the Israeli-defined East Jerusalem municipal area on the West Bank side of the Barrier. As a result, one non-refugee household comprising six people including four children was affected. The demolished structures include an office and an external toilet that were built on a privately-owned land seven years ago within a show yard for plants and gardens. A verbal warning was received on 1 February 2017 and a final demolition notice from the Israeli MoI was received on 13 February 2017 (Jerusalem).

11 November 2019: the Israeli civil administration demolished and confiscated an inhabited residential structure, an uninhabited residential structure and confiscated a donor funded mobile latrine in Area C of Al Muntar in Jerusalem. As a result one refugee household comprising two people were displaced and another refugee household comprising five people including three children were affected. Both residential structures were around 45m2 and was made of metal plates and wooden plates for the ceiling, which were confiscated by the authorities. According to the families they never received a demolition order and therefore they never started a legal process. After the demolition both families received a notice to remove the cement ground foundation before 27 November. (Jerusalem)

The displaced family consulted a lawyer when the civil administration came to take photos of the structure, five days ago. The lawyer said there was no cause for legal action since no demolition order was received. The affected family did not take any legal action. 08 November 2018: The ICA along with Israeli forces demolished an under-construction house, a house foundation and a retaining wall for lacking Israeli building permits in Area C of Az Za'ayyem town. As a result, four non-refugee households comprising 34 people including 22 people were affected. According to the families, the 185-m2 house was built from concrete and stones in 2016. The family received a stop work order in August 2018 and appointed a lawyer to follow up on the case. The 400-m2 foundations and the 100-m long wall were built from concrete in 2017 and 2018, respectively, but did not have demolition orders issued against them, according to the families (Jerusalem).

According to the families, JLAC was following up on the SWO against the under-construction house. Legal developments are unclear.

12 February 2019: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a building extension consisting of two apartments (90m2 each) and a 60-m2 storage space for lacking an Israeli building permit in Ras al Amud area of East Jerusalem. One of the apartments was ready to be inhabited and the other was under construction. The extension was built from concrete and stones six months ago. As a result, two non-refugee households comprising 11 people including two children and a registered refugee household comprising six people including two children was affected; the affected include the building owner and two tenants of the building who had a power cut and their apartments sustained damage. A demolition order was received on 14 January 2019. The legal developments are not clear (Jerusalem).

11 December 2018: The ICA along with the Israeli army demolished an under-construction, two-storey house in Al Jiftlik al Musafah for being built without a permit in area C. As a result, one non-refugee family comprising five people including three children was affected. According to the family, they began to build the house in March 2017 and they received a stop-work order in January 2018 and a final demolition order in August 2018. During the demolition incident, the 38-year-old house owner was injured as a result of being physically assaulted by Israeli soldiers and was arrested. His car was also confiscated. According to local community sources and eye witnesses, the man was rushing to his house in his car upon hearing about the demolition of his house, and when he arrived at the scene, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition towards the car. According to Israeli media reports, the man attempted to carry out a ramming attack (Jericho).

03 July 2019: The ICA along with the Israeli army demolished and confiscated an irrigation network for lacking an Israeli building permit in Al Jiftlik area of the Jordan Valley. As a result, four non-refugee households comprising 15 people including six children were affected. According to the family, the network was 20 kilometers long, was installed six years ago, and served to irrigate a farm of 40 dunums of grape trees. The family did not receive a demolition order but they did receive a confiscation order on the day of the demolition (Jericho).

31 Mar 2020: Israeli authorities demolished under-construction agricultural structure and a concrete wall in Khirbet Jubara (Tulkarm) due to lack of building permit in area "C". The agricultural room around 30 meter-square still in foundation/columns stage, where the concrete wall around (296 m. length with 1.5 m. height) completely destroyed. This affected a family of ten members including two children.

The affected received a stop working order followed with a demolition order before around a year, where according to him,he submitted all the needed legal documents and evidences to the lawyer, but no solid feedback is received.

7 February 2017: The ICA along with the Israeli army demolished two animal structures (90SM each) belonging to a Palestinian family from Kardala village in the northern Jordan Valley for being built without permits in Area C. As a result, one non-refugee family comprising nine people including six children were affected. Some animal feeding trays were also damaged during the demolition incident. According to the family, the demolished structures were built 15 years ago on privately-owned land, and a stop-work order against the structures was received six months ago but no legal follow up was undertaken by the family (Tubas).

12 November 2018: Israeli Authorities demolished an agricultural room in area C for lack of Israeli building permit in Qusra village (Nablus), the room is around 20 meter square, build by cement with electricity network and used during the agricultural seasons. The demolition affected one Palestinian household of nine members.

15 November: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished an under-construction building for the lack of an Israeli building permit in Al 'Isawiya area of East Jerusalem. As a result, two non-refugee households comprising six adults were affected. According to the families, the two-storey building had three apartments in addition to a parking area in the first floor. It was built of concrete and stones and the family had begun the construction five months ago, after which they immediately received a demolition order against it and appointed a lawyer to follow up on the case; legal developments are still unclear (Jerusalem).

04 April 2017: A Palestinian family was forced to self-demolish their 120-m2 house for lacking an Israeli building permit in Beit Hanina area of East Jerusalem. As a result, one non-refugee household comprising seven people including four children was displaced. The now demolished house was built of concrete in 2002. The family received a demolition order in 2010 and hired a lawyer to follow up on the case, until an Israeli court ruled in favor of demolition in early 2017. The family self-demolished their house to avoid the cost of having it demolished by the Israeli authorities. The family reported paying 100,000NIS in fines to the Jerusalem Municipality for building without a permit (Jerusalem).

28 January 2020: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a livelihood structure, for lacking a building permit in Wadi Al Joz area in East Jerusalem. As a result, two refugee households comprising 12 people including four children were affected. The 75-m2 structure was built in 2019 as a show room for tiles and was made of sandwich panels with glass windows. According to the affected land owner, he received the first demolition order in January 2019 and retained a lawyer to follow up on the case. He reported that the most recent court decision stipulated that he obtain a building permit by 15 November 2020, so he had no prior warning that the demolition was imminent (Jerusalem).

According to the affected family, the court issued an order on 14 January 2020 stating that the affected family obtain a building permit by 15 November 2020 (see first page of order under photos); they were thus unaware that the demolition was imminent.

A show room for tiles was demolished, which was a main source of income for two households.

11 July 2019: The ICA along with the Israeli army demolished an agricultural room with a toilet, two greenhouses and two computerised irrigation networks for lacking Israeli building permits in Area C of Kafr Aqab. In total, three structures were demolished. In addition, another greenhouse was partially damaged and fruitful trees (lemons, plums and pomelos) were uprooted during the demolition incident. As a result, a registered refugee household comprising six people including four children was affected. According to the family, the room and the toilet were built from zinc sheets, bricks and metal bars. The greenhouses were 300-m2 each and were made of plastic sheets and metal bars. The greenhouses were planted with beans and cucumbers. All demolished structures were built in 2016. The family received three demolition orders; the first was immediately following construction as well as on 6 March 2018 and 26 June 2019. No legal actions were undertaken (Jerusalem).

4 February 2019: A Palestinian family was forced to self-demolish their 80-m2 house for lacking an Israeli building permit in Silwan area of East Jerusalem. As a result, a non-refugee household comprising six people including four children was displaced. According to the family, the house was built in 2015 from concrete. The family immediately received a demolition order against the house and appointed a lawyer who postponed the implementation of the order until an Israeli court ruled in favour of demolition on 31 January, with a four-day notice. The family reported paying a 55,000-NIS fine for building without a permit (Jerusalem).

16 January 2020: Ministry of Interior along with Israeli forces demolished three animal structures in Bir Onah. The incident took place inside the municipal boundaries of Jerusalem allegedly for lacking a building permit. The families experienced two demolitions in the same area in June and August 2019. The owner lost some animals in the incident. One family comprising 6 members including 2 children is affected.

17 July 2019: The ICA demolished a work-related storage space for lacking an Israeli building permit in Area C of Beit Hanina. As a result, a non-refugee household comprising four people including two children was affected. According to the family, the storage space has been in use since early 2019 and the family did not receive a demolition order against it (Jerusalem).

02 September 2019: A Palestinian family began to self-demolish around 25-m2 under-construction structure in the area of Silwan for lacking a building permit in East Jerusalem. As a result, a non-refugee household comprising eight people including four children were affected. The structure is made of two floors, concrete columns and rooftop (no sidewalls), the second floor made of metal pens (as of 1 September the owner demolished only the second floor) and shall demolish the rest of the structure by September 5). The affected family explained that they were planning to use the structure for livelihood. According to the affected family, they received stop working order and then demolition order notifying them that they must self-demolish the house or face demolition and pay the cost of the demolition. As a result, a non-refugee household comprising seven people including five children was displaced. According to the family, the house was built on the roof-top of a second storey building, from concrete, bricks an zinc. The family built the house (two bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a toilet) eight years ago and immediately received a demolition order against it. They appointed a lawyer who postponed the order until an Israeli court ruled in favour of demolition on 04 October 2018, with a six-month notice. The family reported paying around 100,000NIS in fines to the Jerusalem Municipality. The family had their house demolished in the same location 11 years ago (Jerusalem).

27 February 2020: East Jerusalem municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a residential building, a garage and a retaining wall that belong to three different families in Al Walaja. The incident took place allegedly for lacking a building permit inside the area declared as Jerusalem municipal boundaries the area known as Ein Jweizeh. One family comprising four members including two children is displaced. Other two families comprising 15 members including 6 children are affected.

The livelihoods are two stone factories and a mechanic shop. The demolition affected six families of 47 people including 29 children

9 October: A Palestinian family was forced to self-demolish their house extension for lacking an Israeli building permit in Sur Bahir area of East Jerusalem. As a result, a non-refugee household comprising six people including four children was affected. According to the family, the extension was built on the rooftop of a three-storey building. The now demolished extension consisted of a balcony and two rooms that were built from bricks and aluminium boards. The family received a demolition order against the extension on 29 August 2018, three years after the construction. However, no legal actions were undertaken (Jerusalem).

Israeli forces demolished a residential structure in Halaweh in Massafer Yatta (FZ918). The structure was demolished after the owner built it almost in the same place of an old emolition which took place in 19 October 2017. One family comprising four persons including two children is displaced.

3 December: A Palestinian family was forced to self-demolish a staircase and a private car garage used for storing plumping and construction tools in Silwan area of East Jerusalem. As a result, a non-refugee family of six people, including four children, was affected. The family reported that the structures were built around two years ago and subsequently had an administrative demolition order issued against them. In late November 2018, a court notice was reportedly hung on the garage, dated October 2018, informing the family that they have one month to carry out the demolition or face demolition. On 3 December, staff from the Jerusalem municipality visited the site and verbally informed relatives that they would carry out the demolition within the next 48 hours, forcing the family to carry out the demolition the same afternoon (Jerusalem).

The family did not retain a lawyer to follow up on the demolition order. For more information, please see the incident description.

8 February: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished an under-construction building for lacking an Israeli building permit in Tal Al Foul area of Beit Hanina in East Jerusalem. As a result, a registered refugee household comprising seven people including three children was affected. According to the family, the two-storey, concrete building was built in 2008 on a 350-m2 piece of land. It had a parking lot and each of the two floors had three apartments. Immediately after the construction, the family received a stop work order and appointed a lawyer who postponed the the order until an Israeli court ordered the family in 2010 to freeze the construction and to initiate building licensing procedures. According to the family, they have reached a very advanced stage in the procedures to obtain a building permit, yet the Municipality demolished the building (Jerusalem).

22 November: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a 300-m2, under-construction building for lacking an Israeli building permit in Shu'fat area of East Jerusalem. According to affected families, the building included a 120-m2 storage space on the first floor that was built ten years ago but was recently rehabilitated into a residential apartment and two recently-built apartments (130m2 each) on the second floor. They reported that they began the construction 40 days ago and received a demolition order one week ago, but did not undertake legal action. As a result, three households comprising 14 people including nine children were affected (Jerusalem).

04 February 2020: The Jerusalem municipality along with Israeli forces demolished an under construction residential structure, for lacking a building permit, in Jabal Al Mukabbir in East Jerusalem. As a result one non-refugee household comprising three people was affected. The structure demolished was a 84-m2 concrete foundation built in December 2019. The family reported that the foundation was constructed in December 2019 and had an administrative order issued against it in same month, and again with a demolition order on 12 January. The family did not take any legal action.

Israeli forces along with civil administration demolished a donor funded residential structure in Tuba (Massafer Yatta ,Firing zone 918), allegedly for lacking a building permit in area C. During the incident, one water ststem including weter tank, tank stand filter and pump was damaged.One solar panel system was confiscated.A relative of the displaced family was arrested in the incident. 10 August: The Israeli army punitively demolished a two-floors house belonging to the family of a Palestinian (Usama Ahmad Mustafa ´Atta from Deir Abu Mash'al village) who was involved in the 16 June 2017 attack near Bab al 'Amud area of East Jerusalem, killing one Boarder policeman. As a result, one non-refugee household comprising three people including a child were displaced. According to the family, the building was built in late nineties from concrete and stones. The family received a punitive demolition order on 3 July 2017 and appointed a lawyer who appealed against the order, however, the Israeli court ruled in favour of demolition (Ramallah).

2 April 2017: Israeli NPA along with Israeli bulldozers demolished a 35 meters stone wall and uprooted and confiscated 95 olive saplings in Wadi Qana (Salfit). The owners of the land received 2 eviction orders on 6 Feb2017, The orders were given on the grounds of changing the shape of lands designated as natural reserve. This incident affects 4 households of 28 members including 4 children.

17 April 2019: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a 260-m2 horse stable and a 145-m2 warehouse (both built from concrete) for lacking Israeli building permits in Wadi Yasoul area of Silwan in East Jerusalem. The horse stable provided shelter for seven horses and the warehouse was used as a storage space for the family’s nearby fish restaurant. As a result, two households comprising 18 people including 10 children and one refugee woman were affected. According to the families, both structures were built in 2015 and immediately had demolition orders issued against them. The District Court in Jerusalem issued a final demolition order on 31 March 2019 and the family’s subsequent appeal at the High Court was rejected on 14 April 2019. During the demolition, a 27-year-old man was injured during the demolition as a result of being physically assaulted by Israeli forces (Jerusalem).

24 December 2019: The Jerusalem municipality, along with Israeli forces, demolished an under construction structure in Al 'Isawiya in East Jerusalem, for lacking a building permit. As a result, two households comprising six people, including two children, were affected. The two story cement building (200M2 each floor), was intended as a residence for three siblings. According to the family, the construction started in 2018 and a demolition order was served to them on 1 September 2019, after which they appointed a lawyer. A final ruling of the High Court rejected their appeal on 23 December 2019. The family was previously displaced, when their house, built on the same land, was demolished in May 2018 (D18EJ3655).

The final high court ruling was issued on 23 December 2019, to reject an appeal.

25 January: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a 25-m2 storage space for lacking an Israeli building permit in Ath Thuri area of East Jerusalem. As a result, one registered refugee household comprising five people including two children was affected. According to the family, the storage space was built in 2014 on remains of an old water well. According to the family, they met a construction supervisor at the Jerusalem Municipality in November 2016 who informed them that they would have a court case filed against them for building without a permit. However, no court session was reportedly held nor did the family receive a demolition order. To make way for the demolition, municipality staff cut the main power supply for the family's, 160-m2 apartment (adjacent to the storage space) where three households of the same extended family live; as a result, the network sustained damage and the family suffered a temporary power cut. The family also reported that they had started to convert the storage space into a residential room to create additional living space for members of their family (Jerusalem).

17 January: A Palestinian family was forced to self-demolish their 150-m2 house in Al Isawiya area in East Jerusalem. Two non-refugee households comprising nine people including four children were affected: a family of five (including three girls and a pregnant woman) and an unmarried brother, who were soon moving into the house (the furniture was already in the house) and their parents' family of three people (including one child and one refugee woman). All nine people are currently living in an adjacent house that also had a demolition order issued against it by the Jerusalem Municipality last year. The now demolished house had a demolition order issued against it four months ago and an Israeli court ruled in favour of demolition on 8 December 2016. The family received a final verbal notification from the municipality two days earlier that they should demolish the house or risk having it demolished by the Israeli authorities (Jerusalem).

28 November 2018: The Israeli authorities along with Israeli forces demolished a 130-m2 office for lacking an Israeli building permit in Shu’fat area of East Jerusalem. As a result, a registered refugee household comprising three people including one child was affected. According to the family, the office was built as part of an adjacent construction site; the office included two rooms used as storage spaces, a meeting room, a kitchen and a toilet. It was made of aluminum sandwich panels. The office was built two years ago and immediately had a demolition order issued against it. The family appointed a lawyer who postponed the implementation of the order but legal developments are unclear (Jerusalem).

Whilst the lawyer confirmed that the demolition order was issued by the Municipality, it is not clear, including to the affected family, who carried out the demolition.

6 August: The Jerusalem Municipality along with the Israeli Ministry of Interior demolished a 45-m2 storage barracks used as storage for construction tools and a 270-m2 under-construction residential house in Jabal Al Mukabbir area for lacking building permits in East Jerusalem. As a result, two non-refugee households comprising 11 people, including six children, were affected. The barracks was built in 2016 and the house began to be built in early 2019, both on adjacent land plots. According to the affected families, demolition notices were delivered in May and July 2019, but the families did not undertake legal action (Jerusalem).

The owner of the storage barracks consulted a lawyer on the phone but not retain a lawyer whilst the house owner reported tha he could not afford legal action. No demolition fines were issued by the municipality.

Follow up needed. The owner of the house reported that he currently lives with his family in a rented apartment in Eilat and was planning to move into the house soon.

The owner of the barracks had his income adversely affected since he works in the construction sector and used it for storage of construction equipment.

The house owner requested that he benefit from free legal counselling as he cannot afford legal fees and he plans to rebuild the now demolished house.

3 April: A Palestinian family was forced to begin self-demolishing their house for lacking an Israeli building permit in Jabal al Mukabbir area of East Jerusalem. As a result, one non-refugee household comprising eight people including six children was displaced. According to the family, the 120-m2 house was built in 2013/2014 from bricks and had a zinc roof. The family received a demolition order in January 2017 with a final notice until 22 March 2017. On 4 April 2017, an Israeli policeman informed the family that they must demolish their house to avoid having it demolished by the municipality (Jerusalem).

Jerusalem municipality demolished two structures in Bir Onah near Beit Jala. The demolished structures were one residential and one animal structures. The demolition took place inside the barrier from east Jerusalem side. The municipality did not give the owner any prior warnings and orders. Four families comprising 15 members including 4 children are displaced. The confiscation displaced one family comprising six members including three children. while we were doing the assessment a settler from suseya settlement start verbally assaulting the family members, according to the family this happen on daily basis since a month so the family asked for protective presence members to visit them .

8 August: Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a 80m2 house for lacking Israeli building permits in Jabal al Mukabbir area of East Jerusalem. As a result, a non refugee household comprising four people including two children was displaced. According to the family, the house was built from concrete and bricks in May 2017. The family received a demolition order in May, however, no legal actions were undertaken. The family lost their furniture and belongings under the rubble including medical glasses and hand support device for their eight-years female child who suffers from left hemiparesis (Jerusalem).

Mainly for their child who suffers from hemiparesis.

8 August: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished an under construction residential structure for lacking the Israeli requisite building permit in Beit Hanina area of East Jerusalem. As a result, one none-refugee adult was affected. According to the family, the room was built in April 2017 mainly from wood and included a toilet, kitchen and a room. No demolition orders were received by the family against the structure. A fence, gate and several trees were damaged (Jerusalem). Note: the same family witnessed demolition of their residential structure at the same place on 26 October 2016 (OCHA code: D16EJ3294).

11 July: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian building for lacking an Israeli building permit in Al ´Isawiya area of East Jerusalem. As a result, seven non-refugee household comprising 18 people including six children were affected. According to the families, the four-storey building included eight apartments (150m2 each) and was built in 2015 from concrete and stones. The first storey (two apartments) was used as a commercial storage space for home appliances. Two apartments were ready to be inhabited whilst four others were under construction (walls and roofs completed). The families reported receiving a final demolition order in May 2017 but the details of the legal process are unclear (Jerusalem).

Need for permanent shelter / cash assistance to be evaluated, including for the two households who planned to move into their apartments this month.

To evaluate the commercial loss incurred by the demolition of the storage space for home appliances on the first floor.

05 November: Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished an animal structure belonging to a palestinian family from Al 'Isawaiya area of East Jerusalem for lacking the Israeli requisite building permit. As a result, a registered refugee household comprising 13 people including 9 children was affected. According to the family, the demolished structure (120m2, made of metallic frames and zinc boards) was built in 2004 on a privately owned land, moreover, a demolition order was received against the structure on May 2014 (Jerusalem).

11 June 2019: The ICA along with the Israeli army demolished an under-construction residential building, a swimming pool and a 150-m wall for lacking Israeli building permits in Area C of Jericho City. As a result, three registered refugee households comprising 14 people including five children were affected. According to the affected households, the two-storey building had a 240-m2 first floor with two apartments and a 180-m2 second floor with one apartment. The swimming pool and the wall were built from concrete and stones in 2018. The households reported that they had not received a demolition order and that they were about to move in (Jericho).

14 April 2019: A Palestinian family was forced to begin self demolishing their 60-m2 under-construction house for lacking an Israeli building permit in Ras al Amud area of East Jerusalem. As a result, a non-refugee household comprising 11 people including nine children was affected. According to the family, they began the construction in 2017, using concrete and bricks. The family reported receiving a demolition order on 17 March 2019 but did not undertake legal action. The family had their house demolished in the same location in 2007 and now live in an 80-m2 house (Jerusalem).

Demolition of a segment of a 700 meter paved road (funded) that connects Khallet al Maiyya community to Ad Dheirat community. The impact on the residents' access is minimal, however, residents now use an alternative, however, inferior dirt road.

The Israeli authorities (unknown which authority) demolished the renovation (bricks and Gypsum boards) of a 150-m2 uninhabited concrete building built in the 1970s and has been under renovation since early June 2014. The structure, which has been used as a drug abuse center and a dump site and was being renovated through a community-based initiative to be turned into a mosque, is located on the West Bank side of Shu'fat Camp Barrier checkpoint within the Israeli-defined municipal area. During the demolition, the Israeli authorities confiscated renovation materials including building stones and Gypsum boards. The Israeli authorities also briefly detained six workers who were carrying out the renovation. (Jerusalem).

15 February 2018: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces demolished a 10-m2 room for lacking an Israeli building permit in Silwan area of East Jerusalem. As a result, one non-refugee household comprising nine people including seven children was affected. According to the family, the room was built of zinc boards one year ago on privately-owned land and was used by the owner to protect the land from Israeli settlers and other trespassers. A demolition order was hung on the room one hour before the demolition took place. No legal actions were undertaken (Jerusalem).

15 August: The Jerusalem Municipality along with Israeli forces partially demolished a car dealership (the metallic frame and the shade) for lacking an Israeli building permit in Beit Hanina area of East Jerusalem. As a result, a registered refugee household comprising seven people including five children was affected. According to the family, the dealership was rehabilitated following the demolition that took place on 5 December 2016 (OCHA code: D16EJ3338). In early August 2017, the family received a demolition order against the dealership and appointed a lawyer to follow up on the case; however, legal developments are unclear (Jerusalem). Note: The office and the parking space in the car dealership were not demolished.

Demolition by the ICA and Israeli forces of a fodder storage structure made of bricks and zinc on the grounds that it lacked a building permit in area C. As a result, one family of 14 (inc. 10 children) was affeccted; all are non-refugees except oe woman who is a registerd refugee.

Demolition by the Israeli authorities (ICA and Israeli forces) of all the 13 standing structures ( 3 residential structures, 5 animal barracks (each with an animal pen), 3 chicken coops, 1 external kitchen and 1 traditional oven) in Qarzaliya area of Abu al Ajaj segment of Al Jiftlik town that belong to 3 families on the grounds that they live in a closed military area and a nature reserve. During the demolition, also was damaged the water pipes connecting the three families to the nearby Qarzaliya water spring, an oven, two plastic water tanks and parts of a 40m2 barracks that was used as a praying room and was disassembled by the families 10 days ago, and a bag of veterinary medicine. The families had received evacuation orders from a closed military area in 2010 and evacuation orders from a nature reserve in 2011. The families report that this is the third time they experience demolitions, the previous two times in 2008 and 1990s. As a result, 3 non-refugee families comprising 26 people (13 children) were displaced and around 750 heads of sheep that the families own are now without shelter.
