The In-Crowd Drive- thru Food Distribution Event
The Violence Reduction Partnership Drive-Thru Free Food Distribution Event is seeking Volunteers to join in and help with this fast-paced event.Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or be accompanied by an adult to participate.This event qualifies for Palm Beach County Schools community service hours .Volunteers are needed to help with the procedures of preparing grocery items for bagging, placing bagged groceries into the trunks of vehicles participating in the Drive-Thru, as well as helping to clean up the food distribution area. Reading Buddies Teen Volunteers needed. Children in ages K-5 are paired with teens volunteers and spend 60 minutes each time reading aloud and doing fun reading activities during the 6-8 week sessions. Policy InformationYou must volunteer for a non-profit organization or agency. You must complete community service upon successful completion of Grade 8 and by high school graduation. You may count only active hours of volunteering. Each hour of work counts as ONE hour. Parent(s)/guardian(s) cannot sign for your volunteer hours. A supervisor must sign all service hours. If your parent is a supervisor, have another supervisor sign for your hours. Five hours of the required 20 May Be submitted for donated goods. Additional hours beyond five will not be accepted until you have met the 20-hour graduation requirement. Practice time for an event does not constitute community service. MAKE A COPY OF YOUR COMMUNITY SERVICE LOG FOR YOUR OWN RECORDS BEFORE SUBMITTING.
