Plan and implement policy, system and environmental PSE interventions in four topic areas, including, healthy eating in childcare. Users are able to access the resource library and our PSE in action intervention videos or create an account to take the PSEREADI assessment. Greater Cleveland Food Bankhttps://www.greaterclevelandfoodbank.org/programs-services/childrens-programs/backpack-for-kids216-738-7226Each week, Food Bank volunteers pack six child friendly meals per student into plastic bags and then cases, which are delivered to our partner sites. The bags include various items such as milk, pasta, tuna, peanut butter, vegetables, cereal, fruit and snack items. These bags of food are delivered to partner sites where staff or volunteers at the sites distribute the bags to the students. The children take the food home over the weekend in an unmarked, nondescript backpack provided to them by the Food Bank. The program is operated with respect for the children’s confidentiality where applicable. Greater Cleveland Backpack for Kids Objectives/Requirements: Through the Backpacks for Kids program, the Food Bank provides food for low‐income children each weekend when they do not have access to the free and reduced price school lunches available to them during the week.

Kulture Kids and Andrew J Rickoff School have worked together for the last eight years to create original, arts-integrated, in-school residences based around STEM concepts. In 2016-2017, the students and staff worked with Kulture Kids to begin a community/school garden. The garden has been a huge success, producing more than 500lbs of fresh food for the surrounding community each year. Produce is provided to community members on a first served basis.
