INTRO TO THE GUIDE:
2
We're a group of community-engaged and policy-driven Angelenos who have been holding this space to gather and discuss new ideas and concepts for a better future.
3
Part of our work has been around supporting progressive policies that will make our local government more effective and responsive to the needs of all Angelenos.
4
We believe in housing and healthcare for all. A public safety system that is meant to uplift and protect the community it serves (rehabilitation, not mass incarceration; accountability for killer cops; Black Lives Matter). That climate change is an existential threat. And we think that there are sensible policies and politicians that can get us there, even if it's not overnight.
5
We built out a voter guide written in plain language for those in LA County to be informed about the different measures and offices on the ballot, and how we recommend they vote.
6
This voter guide is for you to use as you're filling out your mail-in vote. It's also for you to share with friends, family, and others in LA County to help them be informed - and with friends, family and others NOT in LA County to inspire them to do their own local voter guides.
7
This guide reflects all of our personal opinions, and not those of our employers.
