Level 3 tests confirm that the horse has achieved the impulsion required in level 2, accepts more weight on the hindquarters (collection); moves with a greater uphill tendency as required in the collected gaits, especially in the collected lope. The movements should be performed with greater straightness, bending, suppleness, balance and self-carriage than in Level 2.RIDER #10386Link:

Talented pair starting to show a lot of correct work for this level. Stay active in collected jog so that he reaches into the bridle with more swing in the back and longer neck. Collection is about balance, not slowing the tempo. Very nice riding with a bright future

you and your lovely horse are a well matched pair with established basics. He has expressive and correct gaits that will continue to be more impressive as you progress in his training. Maybe I can help you with a few tips for even higher scores and improved training.
Overall the work is correct but you must keep this type of horse forward and reaching to the bridle, being round is the easy part, reaching forward and lifting the thoracic sling is the hard part. His poll is up enough, keep him active in the gaits and reach forward a bit with your hands to lengthen the base of his neck so that the neck becomes longer as he rounds, this will improve his drive from behind and swing in the back. This concept also applies to TOF and TOH.
In your shoulder in, normally we think of riding the first step of a circle down the track, with your horse, try to ride the second step of the circle down the track to be sure to have 3 tracks. Inner leg at the cinch, outer leg back, poll rotation with straightness through the base of the neck. Look down the track and use half halts on the outer rein to keep his outside shoulder up.
For the lope work, he tends to over bend in the base of the neck and falls out the outside shoulder which makes it much more difficult to do the smaller circles and turns. Straighten the base of the neck while keeping flexion of the jaw and focus on bring the outside of his body around the turns by using more outside knee, thigh and upper calf. This will also help clean up all the transitions.
He needs to develop more bending especially through the ribs in the half pass, to help this I like to use haunches in on large circles and on diagonals. The difference between leg yield and half pass is the poll rotation and bending in the ribs. As you work to improve the consistency of the bend (not cranked over at the base of the neck), it will become easier and easier to stay parallel to the long side walls. Inside seatbone slightly forward, inner leg wrapped around to help the bend, poll rotation in the direction of travel, outer leg back. Inside leg helps the bend and forward motion, outer leg helps him go sideways.

I hope to see you again in the future. Best of luck.
