The Middle and High School Peer Learning community is a place for formal educators, informal educators and other community members who work with 6th-12th grade students to connect, share resources and support one another in building empowering, engaging and responsive garden, STEM, nutrition and environmental education programs. We strive to cultivate a supportive community where we can share challenges and successes, ask questions, and brainstorm solutions and best practices for successfully reaching middle and high school audiences. Many states and territories have existing formalized networks, and many are still in development. This Peer Learning Community welcomes anyone who is actively working, managing, or leading an existing statewide network, or who is interested in formalizing an emergent network. We will gather via Zoom on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 2-3pm EST to support one another's challenges, share success stories, gather research, and redistribute resources that further grow our networks.
