Very well organised process
Great choice of activities tailored towards individual school. High quality resources provided - makes life very easy for the teachers!
Organised unforgettable fun
It is great that we no longer have to wait for booking to open and that we have been able to rebook for next year already! A few hiccups this year due to account being hacked? I was a little concerned that I was responding to the actual company but this was all dealt with effectively.
It is great the way that Craig checks in with the teachers at key points to ensure all is going well with the camp. They are incredibly flexible and willing to work with children with a range of needs.
The activities are engaging and well run. The instructors are really knowledgeable and the children are engaged throughout.
Fantastical, fabulous and fatiguing
A true buzz of excitement hits the children in September as they enter Year 4 knowing that this is the 'year of the camp'! Thank you once again to the amazing team that came to make this years camp such a success.
Easy, straightforward and Craig was very approachable.
Wonderful, very well organised great rapport with children
Superb - very engaging for all pupils.
Fantastic, fun, friendly
An amazing 24 hours of learning in such a marvellous setting - thank you.
Not really relevant but within the small timeframe learning outcomes were positive
Excellent camping experience
Always quick communication with Craig and helped with any queries promptly.
All staff very professional and friendly and made the children's camp really exciting and special whilst also being clear and firm with expectations and rules for safety.
Activities are always well set up and safe, lots for the children to learn and do and all link very well to our school's growth mindset ethos. Safety rules are explained to the children in a fun and memorable way and reinforced with consistency throughout the camp.
As above, excellent for our growth mindset and building resilience goals as a school. Excellent for building a love of outdoor learning too.
Engaging, educational, fun!
Thanks again for a great camp experience!
exciting, resilience, teamwork
Friendly, firm and approachable.
Fun, exciting, engaging
Whilst we would have preferred every child to experience the full camp adventure, we appreciate your willingness to accommodate, in the day activities, the few children who were not given parental permission to camp overnight. Thank you.
Having worked with Ted for a number of years, it is great to see his enthusiasm continues! Jo, who we hadn't met before, complemented his style well, and together they made a very effective team. Both worked exceptionally hard and went out of their way to ensure the smooth running of the camp.
Equipment was good quality, well organised, and more than fit for purpose. Activities which appear "risky" are clearly well risk assessed and actually present minimal risk - e.g. fire lighting - Ted went to great lengths to reassure the children that the sparks they made would cause no injury, and could not ignite the dry grass on which they were working. Where potential risks exist, they are exceptionally well planned and managed to minimise the risks, and clear boundaries and behaviour expectations reinforce this well.
We appreciated the opportunity to reinforce our autumn term science (magnetism / linked to compasses) and add on to this with other techniques for finding north.
Exciting, excellent, exhausting!
Huge thanks! Nearly every child in class experienced camp, and even those who were most wary beforehand took part enthusiastically and left with very happy memories. A few parent comments submitted to Facebook: "I have a very grubby and tired girl but she had a fabulous time. (But will she ever stop singing that song!?!?!" "XXXX had a fantastic time! No singing here - BUT have one very grubby boy because he told the teachers he didn’t have a wash bag! He’s just asked if he can show Daddy how to purify water!" (followed by picture of him doing just that) I believe we have already emailed requesting to book for a similar date next year - see you then!
Comments from children and parents also back up these staff views. Thank you.
Very clear- no concerns
Great to have a back up plan in place for the extreme weather.
Windy and great fun!
