Starts at 5:30 in the morning – sharp!

· From I-495 in Maryland near the Wilson Bridge, take Indian Head Hwy (Rt. 210 South).

· Continue south for 12.5 miles/15 minutes, passing Fort Washington, MD along the way

· Take a right on Livingston Rd. in Accokeek. (Landmark on right is B&J Carry Out).

· Take an almost immediate right onto Biddle Rd.

· In 200 feet, take a left onto Bryan Point Rd.

· Proceed 2.9 miles, crossing Farmington Rd W, passing Mockley Pt Rd/Hard Bargain Farm on right , taking a sharp bend to the left, and shortly thereafter taking a right at a National Park sign that reads, "Piscataway Park/ Accokeek Creek.”

· Gravel drive then turns to the right and meanders to the parking lot. Park and hash.

· If you miss and enter the main park gate at the end of the road (which will likely be closed at that hour), turn around and go 0.3 miles and take a left.

· Although traffic is light at that hour, allow 25 minutes travel time from the Beltway to the park.

· Can’t emphasize this enough: ALLOW YOURSELF PLENTY OF TRAVEL TIME. Sunrise will wait for no one. This is farther away than you may realize.
