Student Athletic BoardMr. Hartog and Mrs. Colerhartog@ccs.k12.in.us jcole2@ccs.k12.in.usCoaches and teachers recommend seventh grade students at the end of the school year to serve on the Student Athletic Board (SAB) during their eighth grade year. The SAB assists the athletic department in hosting athletic events, planning philanthropic activities, coordinating fifth grade transition evenings, and promoting school spirit.

Spell Bowl/Academic BowlMrs. Carsonjcarson@ccs.k12.in.us Spell Bowl and Academic Bowl are both academic competition teams. There are tryouts for both. Spell Bowl Tryouts will be in September. Academic Bowl tryouts will be in February.

RoboticsMrs. Glenesk and Mrs. Tuckerbglenesk@ccs.k12.in.usStudents will build robots using Vex IQ parts. Students will participate in robotics competitions and have a weekly practice Thursday mornings at 7:00am.

National Junior Honor SocietyMrs. Deseree Becker-Wilpotdbecker@ccs.k12.in.usNational Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an Honor Society for qualifying incoming 8th grade students. Admission into NJHS is based on our local chapter bylaws which includes a GPA requirement and application process. Ceramics ClubMs. Volk-Maroneyavolkmar@ccs.k12.in.usIn Ceramics Club, students work independently to explore clay and create their own small works of art at their own pace. The club generally meets every other Wednesday after school until 4:30 in the Art Studio Room 203 with Ms. Volk-Maroney. The Ceramics Club is now full for the 2023-24 school year.

If you can think of a creation, you can make it!" We meet every other Tuesday after school in room 201 until December 12. We begin meeting on Sept. 5th. Pokemon ClubMrs. R Barnesrbarnes@ccs.k12.in.usA club to make friends with other people who like Pokemon! Discuss, play, and draw pokemon. Club will be Tuesday's after school from 3:30-4:25. Pickup time is at 4:30 in front of the school at door 1.

Debate ClubMrs. Casslerccassler@ccs.k12.in.usThis is a club focused on public speaking, critical thinking, discussion, and debate. All levels of experience welcome. Debate club will be hosted in room 312 (Mrs. Cassler's room) every Thursday from 3:30-4:15.

Crochet ClubMrs. Boudouriscboudour@ccs.k12.in.usThis club is available for anyone who wants to learn how to crochet or grow in their current experience. All levels, including new learners, are welcome. We hope to also crochet for charity. We meet every other Tuesday from 3:30-4:30 and students attending meetings should be picked up at the front entrance at 4:30. Please listen to announcements for the next scheduled meeting or email Mrs. Boudouris to be added to our Canvas course to receive reminders.

MSA- Muslim Student Association Mrs. Foxworthyafoxwort@ccs.k12.in.us The purpose is to bring in Muslims, and to help them find their muslim identity. To create a community at creekside, where Muslim students feel safe. To educate non-Muslims about Islam. All are welcome. This club wil meet every other Wednesday in room 409 from 3:30- 4:15

Track ClubMr. ShelbySShelby@ccs.k12.in.usThe club will help students unleash there potential in Track and Field with Preseason tips this fall and in the spring. We will conduct trainings and expose them to all aspects of Track & Field Events and All Grade Levels are welcome. Returning runners and new runners will get ready to hit the ground running and soar to new heights with Wildcats Track and Field Club! We are thrilled to announce our Preseason Tips sessions for all aspiring athletes in the world of running and field events. Student will be required to come wearing proper workout clothing and running shoes and bring a water bottle. For any inquiries or further information, feel free to contact Coach Shelby. Ping Pong ClubMrs. Surettecsurette@ccs.k12.in.usPlay ping pong, have fun with friends and meet new friends. We will meet to play in the LGI on the following Wednesdays: 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/21, 2/28, 3/6, 3/13, and 3/20. Students must be picked up in the carpool line by 4:30.

Genshin Impact ClubMrs. Hastshast@ccs.k12.in.usGenshin Impact club will meet every other Tuesday on weeks that we have a late start. Meetings are held in room 304 from 3:30-4:15. Students will play, discuss, and do activities related to Genshin Impact.

Origami ClubMs. Volk-Maroneyavolkmar@ccs.k12.in.usIn Origami Club, students explore the Japanese art of paper folding. The club generally meets every other Wednesday after school until 4:30 in the Art Studio Room 203 with Ms. Volk-Maroney. The Origami Canvas page can be found here and parents/guardians can register their student here. A $5 donation is requested to cover the cost of origami paper.
