The SAB assists the athletic department in hosting athletic events, planning philanthropic activities, coordinating fifth grade transition evenings, and promoting school spirit.

Students are required to do volunteer service hours throughout the year. Students apply to become a member at the beginning of each school year.

Best BuddiesAngie Miller, John Stangel, and Ciara Shortamiller3@ccs.k12.in.usClub meets once a month, students will be given a calendar of meeting dates during the club call out meeting.Best Buddies is a national organization for grades 6-college that pairs a special needs student with a non-disabled peer to foster friendships. We will meet once a month after school as a chapter. Best Buddies Peer Buddy members are required to maintain regular contact with their Buddy.

Angler's ClubJoshua Kendrickjkendric@ccs.k12.in.us Club will meet twice a month on Mondays. Students & Parents can sign up on the canvas account for the full calnedar. Angler's club is for all students. Those students who have never caught a fish and want to, or the avid anglers are welcome to attend. We will learn to tie knots, bait hooks, catch fish, and learn the wonderful lessons about life that fishing can teach us. Meetings will take place rain or shine. Parents and students are asked to become a part of the Angler's Canvas page so they understand expectations, know where to pick up students, and witness the joyful pictures of anglers holding their catch of the day.

Film club is a place where students grades 6-8 can get together and hang out while learning more about film, story building, and acting. They work together to act in and direct a series of short videos.

Debate ClubJennifer Carsonjcarson@ccs.k12.in.usClub will generally meet twice a month on Wednesdays after school. This is a student led club for students to debate topics of their choosing. They will learn debate and research skills as well as gaining general knowledge. It will also provide a social component for students.

Creekside BrassAndrew Broughabrough@ccs.k12.in.usCreekside Brass meets on Thursdays after school beginning on November 15th.Creekside Brass is an after school club for 7th and 8th grade band students that play a brass instrument. We work on practice techniques, instrument-specific skills, and brass concert literature. We perform concerts throughout the school year during second semester. It is a great experience for any 7th or 8th grade band student that plays a brass instrument that would like to have fun with band friends and learn more about their instruments and how to increase musical performance.
