Pair shows correct and fluid movements in this fairly accurate ride. Horse could show better bending and is slightly braced in lower neck at times. Rider and horse have a clear understanding of the requirements of this level. Steady and accurately ridden test. Rider need to prepare more for the corners and turn to show correct bend and better balance. Make sure to prepare better for canter departs to the right and maintain activity in the canter to maintain the quality. Work on keeping a slight flexion in your horse's jaw and poll for greater suppleness and balance.(this will help with the bend as well) The rider does a good job in this test with straightness on the center lines which was reflected in the scores. The free walk started out very well but some of the downward stretch on the diagonal was lost. Don't hestitant to ride the walk. That is the only way to maintain it and will be a useful skill when the free walk is the longer diagonal. This pair is well turned out but if the rider would add wearing a belt it would just add to the already neat and tidy presentation. As I have aready said this pair shows an understanding of the level and is on the right path. Showing clearer bend and suppleness will just help prepare you for the next level. Good effort!
