8	Sources and methodology
9	Data on street names was extracted from OpenStreetMap and then matched with Wikidata following the process described here [link]. You can find more information on the data sources, methodology, criteria, and limitations of the analysis here.

11	Scope
12	This analysis covers the following 15 capital cities: Athens, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Chisinau, Copenhagen, Kiev, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Warsaw, Vienna and Zagreb.
13	The ranking of the most popular figures in the street names of these capital cities is based on the number of cities in which each figure appears in the name of one or more streets, secondarily on the number of streets dedicated to her or him, thirdly on the number of foreign cities in which each figure appears in the name of one or more streets, and lastly on the total approximated lenght of the streets dedicated to her or him (this data is not shown).

16	N of cities	the number of cities in which the name of the person appears at least once in the street names
17	N of streets	the total number of street names in which the person's name appears
18	N of foreign cities	the number of foreign cities (i.e. those located outside the current borders of the country hosting the place where the figure was born) in which the name appears at least once in the street names
19	Field of activity	the field or fields where the person was active, hand-coded based on the list of the person's occupations obtained from Wikidata
20	Country of citizenship	the country or countries of which the figure held the citizenship during her or his lifetime, as obtained from Wikidata
21	Present country of birth	the country hosting the place where the figure was born, according to current borders
22	Present country code	the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code of the country of birth, according to current borders
23	Cities	the cities where the name of the person appears at least once in the street names
24	Data on gender, bio, dates of birth/death are directly obtained from Wikidata.
