He became a Catholic but was not baptised until 1827 possibly at the age of 94 with his grandson. He had three children.Family members emigrated to US settled in 'Little Ireland' m around Helena and Brasger Falls in St. Laurence Co., NY some further in the next generation went to Argentina and Brazil.
