Chorus ClubWillie Stroudwillie.stroud@kcs.k12.nc.usThis club provides an inclusive musical opportunity for high school students who cannot fit traditional choir classes into their academic schedules. It is designed for students in grades 9-12 who have a passion for music. While vocal training is not required, it is recommended. The club welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds, both ethnic and musical. Students in this organization have shown their dedication to the art of theatre either through performance or technical work. Students in ITS will be leaders in the theatre department, are invited to be adjudicated at the Regional, State, and International level, and are held to a higher standard of theatrical excellence. Kannapolis Robotics ClubCara Buckwellcara.buckwell@kcs.k12.nc.usTeams will work on constructing a custom VEX robot, learn how each mechanical component works, and use direction-giving and navigational skills to complete search and rescue challenges.All students participating must maintain a C or higher in each class and have no out of school suspension and no more than 3 days of in school suspension. This year we will be adding study hall where our members will offer tutoring hours to other students as well as other members struggling academically. We also focus on fundraising because it is a goal to go DC and check out the Latino Museum.
