In the Department of Studies in Language and Literature at ECA, we believe that the key to success in the discipline and beyond is reading. While the summer holidays are intended as a time to rest, explore and be rejuvenated, to read not only helps realize these aims but further supports students with keeping minds limber during their time away from formal study, aids with language learners and gives all students practice with the critical skills required for academic success at ECA and beyond. The following list, then, represents some suggestions or possibilites for those of you looking for an interesting work. While no list can be exhaustive, we have selected a few works that we think you might enjoy.
