20Previously, on... Lists ExploreParticipants review the content covered in Unit 4. Particular emphasis is given to the Lists Explore lesson (U5L1) where students build a mental model of lists.

55Model Lesson - Lists InvestiateParticipants act as learners in this Model Lesson on the Lists Investigate lesson. The faciltiator models recognizing the variety of academic skills learners bring to the classroom during the lesson. The reflection discussion focuses on the role of assets that students bring to the classroom.

20Lesson Exploration - Lists PracticeParticipants engage in some of the levels from the "Practice" lesson to gain comfort with using lists and thinking about the skills students bring to the classroom.

20Lesson Exploration - Lists MakeParticipants focus on being able to extend and find trouble points in projects.

45Lesson Exploration - Traversals InvestigateThis session starts with a faciltiator-led explanation of loops and traversals. From there, participants look at the Investigate lesson for traversals and use the Data Library tool. Participants consider the academic skills students may bring to the classroom during this lesson.

45Unit 5 - Conclusions and ConnectionsParticipants look at what is required for the Hackathon project at the end of Unit 5 and consider the ways teachers can provide feedback before the project starts, during the project, and after the project. The focus is on feedback and assessment being a continuous part of the learning process and the need for learners to be able to act on feedback.

45Unit 6 OverviewParticipants do a jig-saw style activity to look at lessons 2-5 in the unit. The facilitator does a voice-over of the content in each lesson while participants share where they saw math being used in the lesson and what other skills students might bring to the classroom to support the learning of the content.

15Wrap-upThe faciltiator goes over question parking lot questions and the participants do a survey.
