Soul PowerNikki de CarteretNon-fictionShivani Canada based Carteret began her journalism career in London, has explored GOD from a completely different (genderless) dimension. She addresses GOD as "She". Wow! Need more reason to read this one?

3
Godfathers of CrimeSheela RavalNon-fictionShivani Ms Raval is one of the first female journalists of the independent India, she had the audacity to walk into the den of the don and investigate, document and publish her story, her journey and its parallels with those of the underworld and feared by the law.Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
4
Challenging DestinyMedha Deshmukh BhaskaranNon-fictionShivani The author takes the reader through the entire journey of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, my childhood hero and also my fantasy hero, and is a must read for all Shivaji lovers. If you were as fascinated as me by Shivaji Raje Bhosale, this one won't disappoint you. You would find unexpected mentions of comparisson between modern world war strategies to those employed by the Maratha warriors. My eyes welled up with tears of pride, when I was engrossed in this book.Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
5
The Serpent's revengeSudha MurthyFictonShivani A collection of short tales from the parallels of Mahabharata, this collection by Ms Murthy will force you to think what you know and understand about the epic Mahabharatha and also give answers to several incomplete Qs.Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
6
The Rise of SivagamiShivani Kind of an intriguing background to the Bahubali franchise. Sivagami wasn't just another woman!Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
7
Sita - Warrior of MithilaAmish TripathiShivani A very curious tale of Empress Sita, who married Lord Rama to become the ruler of the Silver Age dynasty and of Ayodhya. You will never look at Sita with the same (limited) perspective.Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
8
Trojan OdysseyClive Cussler (NUMA Files)Fiction / Sea FictionShivani All of Cussler's sea adventures, as a navigator and an ex-NUMA (national underwater marine agency) in USA, are blood curdling thrillers, of stories beyond a human brain's imaginations. Some about climate change and stuff. Must readLibrarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
9
Killing FloorLee ChildFictionShivani Lee Child is known to have given fictitious characters, flash, blood and face, through Tom Cruise and nearly all his novels are cinematized by Cruise. Movies and books - both are worth! Goosebumping crime thriller, Jack Reacher is Child's protagonist, who has a sturdy built and is an ex-US-army guy, who will take the world down if need be.Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
10
Losing YouNicci FrenchFictionShivani Another of my favourite crime thrillers, this one is actually a cold-blooded attempted murder of a teenager who is harmless and innocent. A mother, on the verge of panicking about losing her precious child, takes desperation to the next level and the entire plot is tightly spun around a few hours of a day, from dawn to dusk. That's what caught my fancy. Spoiler: This story is what gave me the chills, coz it's about counterfiet money. A few hindi movies have been loosely spun around this plot.Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
11
BreakneckErica SpindlerFictionShivani Not a typical crime thriller, this will keep you hooked until you reach a climax. A woman author whose imagination runs wild, there is a psycopath on the loose, who's killing people for no apparent reason, at breakneck speed - literally. (Read this one ages ago, though). There are other amazing novels under Spindler.Librarywala.com has a good collection. It's an online circulating library in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
