1. Measure out all of your ingredients.

Citric Acid in Distilled Water10.28
2. Make a warm water bath. I use an old Tupperware container, fill it with some water, and microwave for 1 minute.

3. Combine Ferulic Acid and Propylene Glycol in a shotglass.

4. Put shotglass into warm water bath and stir until Ferulic Acid is fully dissolved. It will turn from cloudy white to clear, pale yellow.

5. Remove from water bath and allow to cool completely.

6. Combine Tocopherol, Polysorbate 80, and any oils together. Stir thoroughly. This is your Oil Phase. Set aside.

7. Combine Sodium Lactate with 1% Allantoin Water. (Water Phase) Stir until dissolved. It will turn completely clear. Crushing the sodium lactate helps accelerate this.

8. Add plant extracts, sea kelp, and humectants into Water Phase, stir.

9. Add L-Ascorbic Acid to Water Phase, stir thoroughly.

10. Add Ferulic Acid/Propylene Glycol to Water Phase.

11. Stirring Water Phase thoroughly, slowly drizzle Oil Phase into the Water Phase. Depending on amount you have, it will form a cloudy or creamy solution. Mix thoroughly.

12. Test pH, adjust with citric acid if necessary.
