6 | Fight Public Lands Environmental Threats | Research, write newsletter articles or comment letters, attend local public meeting representing ROLG and report back, lead a campaign to protect a threat, use your expertise to strengthen ROLG arguments. |
7 | Promote Climate Change Projects | Lead campaigns for microgrids in Mammoth, solar arrays at Mammoth/Yosemite Airport, alternate Mammoth power source if power grid is down. |
8 | Promote Electric Vehicles and Local Charging Stations | Lead a campaign for motels/hotels to install chargers, lead a drive electric event, represent electric vehicles and charging stations at local public meetings and report back. |
9 | Organize and Manage an Event | Lead a hike, ski, or backpack outing, highway cleanup, green resources house tour, climate change movie viewing, staff ROLG tables at community events, and more. |
10 | Support the Executive Committee | Join the executive committee, serve as secretary or program chair, organize training for the committee. |
