Fall 2015 report was taken from live data on Aug 26, 2015 - and thus does not count those students enrolled in Session 11 online course; it may not match official census data, using Banner job HC0750. HC0355 data, pulled after census, shows a total of 2178 students. 292
9
The job lists only information on students taking only fully online courses (whether that be eCore (campus code O), UWG Online (campus code Net), WebMBA (campus code V), or any variation of the 3).
10
The info on the states/ county in which these students live is only as good as the data in Banner. If a student does not update their mailing address, this info can be inaccurate.
11
There are many exclusively online students with majors that are not officially marketed as online degrees (see the Programs tab).

Tabs:
14
HC0750: This tab is the original data as extracted; this includes duplicates; in other words, if a student took 3 courses then they appear on this tab 3 times with info on each course taken
15
Unduplicated_1987: This tab is where any duplicate 917#s were stripped out so that a student would only appear and be counted one time.
16
Grad vs Undergrad and Sex tabs: a simple count
17
Programs (2): Groups students by Grad, Undergrad; Major, Student Type, and then lists their name and 917#.  Use the + symbols to expand and - symbols to collapse.
18
Mailing Address (state) and Mailing Address (Cty) tabs: The info on the states/ county in which these students live is only as good as the data in Banner. If a student does not update their mailing address, this info can be inaccurate. If there's a better way to ascertain this info (a better field to use), please let me know.
19
Carrollton Address tab: separates out those 161 students with a Carrollton mailing address
20
Campus Address tab: separates out those 16 students with a UWG Campus mailing address
21
22
NOTE: Programs (2) tab could be misleading due to coding processes:
23
Data may seem to indicate that there are 10 PhD in Psychology students earning the degree entirely online.  This is actually not the case - this is an on-ground program.
24
While is is true that there are 10 students with this major listed - and that they are all taking online courses exclusively - if you look at the actual courses these are dissertation hours. But there's no way to dis-aggregate the data so that one can tell from a Banner report which programs are truly online, based upon the student's enrollment.
25
26
This situation brings an issue to light: When should dissertation hours (communication conducted 100% virtually) be coded as online courses or not?  Similarly, one could ask the same in regards to clinical hours, internships, field experiences, etc.
