Stormy Hollow Official Rules

Punishment: 1hr Mute -> 6hr Mute -> 1d Ban -> 7d Ban -> 30d Ban -> Permanent Ban

Flooding chat with 5 or more messages in a row or spamming a line of characters. This also includes excessive capitol letters.

Speaking in any other language than English is not allowed. You may use non-english chat in /msg as you wish.

Discussing topics which are obscene, inappropriate, or otherwise have no place on the server. This includes excessively inappropriate words and topics.

However, please know that using inappropriate words sparingly when they are used in an appropriate context is permitted on Stormy Hollow.

Disrespecting or insulting players is not allowed- for disrespecting staff, this punishment is more severe (please see tier 2).

Intentially creating a message that is not real and usually intended to trick a player

Wrongfully using or spamming the /modreq system is not allowed, and repeated abuse can result in the command being removed from your account

Posting of AI generated content such as "artwork", images, music, voices etc is strictly forbidden. The use of these generators is damaging to the real people who's work has been stolen.

Asking a player for excessive personal information (i.e. name, age, gender, where they live, etc) is prohibited. This is to protect the privacy of all players on the server.

Griefing which is defined as intentially doing harm to another player's build, claimed or not, is not allowed. For larger griefs, staff members may have the discretion to start at 3 day ban.

Avoid constructing obscene, offensive, or derogatory builds. This also includes troll builds, or builds that are made to intentionally look ugly or cause a disturbance to the community.

With this offense, the build may be either moved or completely deleted or rolled back by our staff team.

Players may not use alts, friends, etc. to XP, Farm, P-Stone, Quests, and/or Jobs boost.

Do not kill any player in the server unless it is at /warp pvp, at a PvP event, or in a PvP area. If this occurs, you will receive an inventory and stats clear with the victim receiving their all items.

Do not claim within 100 blocks of someone without permission. Do not claim land that has a built structure on it, or in the nether or end.

Land cannot be claimed within 100 block of a generated structure. Not including: Villages, Mineshafts, Shipwrecks, Igloos, Ancient Cities, Trail Ruins and Portal Ruins.

Disrespecting staff is prohibited. Staff do an excellent job to help and support you, so please respect them. This may be an added violation to an existing punishment.

Lying to staff or any acts of dishonesty on the server are strictly prohibited. This may be an added violation to an existing punishment.

Failure to comply with the directions or orders of staff members will result in punishment. This may be an added violation to an existing punishment.

Using any racist remark, racist phrase, or racial slur is strictly prohibited. Likewise, discrimination of any kind is not tolerated.

Bullying another user which is defined as excessive disrespect, harassment, hate, or otherwise persistent harassment is not tolerated.

Do not consistently break rules, test limits, or be a nuisance on the server. This may be an added violation to an existing punishment.

Using any disallowed modification, texture pack (like x-ray), autoclicker, or any modification to give you an unfair advantage. This includes in-game exploits.

Basic mob farms/grinders are not allowed whatsoever. Owning or mining spawners is also not allowed.

Users may not impersonate another player, staff member, or youtuber under any circumstance.

Do not abuse any glitch under any circumstance. If you find a bug, immediately report it to a staff member. This is also applicable to cheating during server events.

E-Dating, flirting, or any other suggestive content posted in the chat or on other Stormy Hollow mediums is strictly prohibited. You may not always know the ages of other players.

Punishment: Automatic Permanent Ban

Directly promoting another server such as putting its IP in chat is not allowed.

IP Grabbers, Inappropriate Links (i.e. Pornography), or otherwise harmful links are not allowed in chat.

Exploiting any glitch with serious implications on the server. This includes server-crashing lag machines or griefing glitches. If you find a glitch, you must report it ASAP.

Using a bot to simultaneously have multiple accounts join the server and often speak in chat or perform an action.

Disclosing any PII (Personally Identifiable Information) including addresses, IPs, etc. is not allowed.

More than 1x alternate account is prohibited. Upon the offense, all accounts will be banned; however, the first offense may be successfully appealed for the main accounts once.

Do not wear an inappropriate skin which would not conform to the rest of our rules. This is appealable one time only.

Do not have an inappropriate username which would not conform to the rest of our rules. This is appealable one time only.

Charging back on the Stormy Hollow Store is strictly prohibited and will result in an IP ban.

Joining the server with alts to evade a temporary or permanent ban will automatically result in a permanent ban of the alternate account. The main account will get an additional 3 day ban

increase on the first offense. On the second offense, your IP will be completely banned without the ability to appeal.

Violating the Terms of Service or End User License Agreement (EULA) of Mojang or Stormy Hollow. This also includes abiding by the laws of the United States.

Not playing the storyline independently OR Receiving more than one specialty token from a villager trade OR Sharing specialty tokens with other players.

Trading for items in-game for IRL money is not allowed. You may only trade in-game items for other in-game items

Any encouragement of suicide or self-harm is not tolerated

Players may not threaten to harm other players. This includes DDOS and Dox threats.
