How to use and understand this spreadsheet:

1. Find the board pattern you have in the 'Board Patterns' sheet.

There are 4 base patterns, which each can be rotated 4 times, resulting in 16 board patterns.

Note the letter and orientation of your board e.g A↑ or C←

2. Navigate to the 'X Patterns' sheet relevant to your board type (A, B, C, or D), and (↑ → ↓ or ←)

3. Approximate where the Sword illustration is on your board by uncovering tiles.Colour Legend

Uncovering a single tile of an illustration should let you figure out where the rest of the illustration is.Sword

4. Back in spreadsheet, in your tab, find the row that has your sword rectangle in the same location.confirmed Fox location

5. Find where your square coffer is located and that will narrow your pattern down to one.

6. A coloured single square shows where a Fox has been observed before. Uncovering this tile on your board may reveal a Fox.

Note that there is no guarantee that a Fox will appear, nor that the Fox will appear in that location every time.
