This is marked as an optional test for Subscribers, but if your Subscriber supports folder subscriptions, please help your Broker partner by running this test.

This test assumes that the Broker is an XDS Registry, receiving submissions containing a folder, then adding a document to a folder.

This test must be run by Brokers that support the 'Folder Subscription' option. The challenge for the Broker is two-fold:

You need to find a Subscriber that can perform a folder subscription (there is no Folder option for the Subscriber in DSUB to make it easy for you to find one).
You need to find a XDS Document Source that supports folders (there is an Folder option for XDS Doc Sources). It is acceptable to use the NIST XDS tools for this.
The Broker/Registry may work with a Repository of its choosing.

Description
This tests the ability of a Document Metadata Notification Broker to accept and process subscriptions that use Folder metadata as filter parameters, and to send notifications with the contents of the folder is changed when a Document Source adds a document to the folder or if an existing document in the folder is replaced.

Evaluation
Verify that the Broker sends a Notification to the Recipient:

When a folder is created for the subscribed patient
When a document is added to the folder
(optional) When a document in the folder is replaced.

Note that this test tests an option defined in DSUBextensions but there is no option for the suscriber.
