6	4/8/20	County	All	Hello everyone, I'm wondering if any one is aware of a resource for parents to use for those who don't have Internet? Some of my Spanish speaking families are struggling with teaching from home because they don't have Internet access. Has this been discussed at all? - Came from Devan Haney through IC Slack. Spectrum is offering two months of free service to new new customers with students. IC Connex is offering free service in their WiFi area in the City of Gunnison. IC Connex and Xtream Internet will troubleshoot particular cases to get families access. I'm working with ViaSat and HughesNet to find solutions for our families who need satellite internet. Customers can ask CenturyLink for the best speeds they can provide. The district still has Verizon hotspots available to provide internet service to families in range of cell service.” 4/10

If they have a cell phone could we help get them unlimited data to help them access resources better? Or how can we help these families through isolation? 8	4/10/20	County	All	From Betsy Holena @ Health and Human Services: Is there any valley wide information on how many people we anticipated were laid off or lost work due to COVID and its circumstances?(this is for a grant) or any idea where I could find this information? This number will help us not only request additional funding, but budget what we do have a little better. 12		State/Regional	Lodging	For those of us who are owners of the lodges, we do not qualify for unemployment as far as I know? (Is this correct?)	Sole proprietors are now included under the expanded unemployment insurance benefits in the bill passed last night. Gig workers, freelancers and independent contractors are covered in the new bill and would be eligible for the additional $600 weekly benefit provided by the federal government. Benefit amounts would be calculated based on previous income.

17		Private/utility	Lodging	Ask lenders & utility providers for deferred payments	Make contact with your providers on an as-needed basis; GB&T is working with customers on an individual basis considering deferment up to 3 payments; GCEA is not disconnecting (balance is still building, pay what you can; no late payment fees)- this applies to small commercial and residential customers;
18		Private/Utility	Lodging	Electric bills were received in the mail. Is the electric company able to give us some relief?	Utilities currently not disconnecting for non-payment and electicity late fees are suspended. GCEA is now accepting applications under its Credits to Cash program allowing members to cash in the equity they earned between 1994 and 2015 at 35% of face value instead of annual payouts over the next 20 +/- years. Requests will be subject to Board approval until the Board can consider an extension of the program at its April 29 meeting. GCEA patronage capital (equity) allocations for 2016-2018 can also be cashed in early under its ongoing certificate program.

28		County	Lodging	LMD funds redirected would be most helpful and timely	TAPP staff is integral to our response to the pandemic, both directly in Incident Command by providing the PIO function and through the ICELab leading the economic recovery efforts. Although marketing of the valley to tourists is postponed, we expect the marketing messaging when launched to be more concentrated in our target markets. We estimate that every point of lodging occupancy is worth approximately $3M in revenues to our businesses in the valley. We have found no other opportunity to invest LMD funds that comes close to this impact.

Summer Houston and Denver flights are for sale, but RTA and United would be able to change if necessary. Prices very affordable!

33	3/30/20	County	Lodging	Since the president mentioned yesterday that we should continue as is through April 30th, do you know if the county will extend the short term stay restriction through April 30th? What is our official closed until date?	The current Order goes through midnight at the end of April 30, 2020. If County extends this, everyone will be notified. 4/7
34	3/30/20	County	Lodging	Do housekeepers need to fill out a lodging exemption form to clean empty STR properties if it will only be one housekeeper at a time?	As per section II.L., cleaning companies are exempt from the Order. "Residential home and repair services (electrician, plumbing, propane dleivery, trash, recycling and snitation services, residential and commercial cleaning and home care services) may continue so long as they are in compliance with this Order.
35	3/30/20	County	Lodging	Can we block out a limited number of rooms for people if we are adhering to CDC standards?	When Public Health Orders can be modified this is a consideration on how best to provide a transition from the current Public Health Orders to a modified order down the other side of this Pandemic.

37	3/30/20	County	Lodging	What is the definition of essential? I have to have clean rooms and I have to keep the property up, maintenance, etc... I consider that essential. Please clarify.	As far as Ashley Up sees, "essential" is not used in the County Order; this term comes from outside sources. The County Order specifically identifies business types that can operate outside the restrictions of this Order.
38	3/30/20	County	Lodging	We understand there are some lodging facilities getting paid to lodge traveling nurses or others visitng the county for essential work. How can we get on a list to be sure some of that business is fairly distributed? 39	3/30/20	County	Lodging	Some of us have family working in business (or for employees who are couples); if members of same household work together, can there be more than one person working together?	Yes, members of the same household can work in the same building at the same time; no others are allowed in that building.
40		County	Lodging	What is the update on deferred property taxes?	The Governor can (30 days at a time) allow for relief from the interest penalty on delinquent property taxes. The County has adopted this policy also. The Gunnison County Treasurer’s office will accept the first half of the 2019 property taxes (originally due February 29, 2020) without delinquent interest from March 20 through April 20, 2020. First half property tax payments post‐marked by April 20, 2020 will be processed without delinquent interest. The full tax payment due by April 30, 2020 and the second half tax payment due by June 15, 2020 are not impacted by Executive Order D 2020 012 at this time.
41	3/30/20	County	Lodging	LMD not willing to help us (who provide lodging tax) because TAPP and ICELab need funding but what about the LMD funds that do not go to their budgets? The LMD board (county commissioners) used to put LMD funds aside into a rainy day fund. It's a rainy day.	The BOCC will be discussing emergency funding options for local business. 4/7

These folks are in direct communication with Joni and can help push your request through quickly. Also ensure that you have outlined very precise ways you’ll keep people separated and healthy.
43	4/13/20	State/Regional	Lodging	Can the community request to delay the HWY 50 construction project scheduled for 2021?
44	4/23/20	County	Lodging	I would like the Task Force to reconsider and encourage the State of Colorado to amend the 60 -64 year old directive in future health orders. The age guidelines in some states are 65 or 70 and older. The US Surgeon General is on National Television saying 65 and older. I understand there is more risk with age but depending on what model you look at the risk at 64 is not near the risk at 71. There is a large segment of the 60-64 year old population that are working only to pay for health insurance until they can apply for Medicare at age 65. This segment should be judged on their health condition, not their age. Many seasonal businesses in Gunnison County rely on this age group for summer help. With the order stating 60 and older many are discouraged about working in Gunnison County. The unknown of getting an exemption is discouraging. I have lost 3 employees that had planned to work at Three Rivers this summer. One idea would be to treat this age group similar to the non-resident “go home” issue. Keeping them out of the workforce is doing more harm than good when they end up with no health insurance.	The county is taking the lead from the state on 60 years old being the cutoff. This concern is being addressed with the Incident Command Center.
