OUR STRATEGIC PRIORITIESJust below are FeelGood's current priorities. These priorities still feel like an accurate representation of our direction as an organization. However, it's a reality that we may elect to shift or refine these priorities at our upcoming board retreat. Over the past year, we've realized that while some of these priorities are measurable, some of them are more challenging to quantify. In order for us to track our progress, we need to be able to measure them moving forward. For even more information about how we were defining these priorities check out the Board Action Plan 2015-18 linked above - the "Strategic Priorities" tab will be the most helpful. So, as you move forward in this process, please consider these priorities, but also hold that they may need to shift, and that YOU will be an integral part of identifying what shifts are needed to ensure our movement is thriving and relevant.
12
1: Ensure sustainability, longevity and integrity of the movement through current transitions.
13
2: Grow the movement in breadth and depth, empowering 175 youth leaders and engaging 500+ grassroots members.
14
3: Increase investment through the Commitment 2030 Fund and deepen impact locally and globally.
15
4: To intentionally and strategically operate like a movement, not just an organization.

FY17 REPORT OUTBelow are our Key Metrics goals and projections for FY17 (which ends June 30, 2017), and where we landed in regards to these metrics at the end of FY 16. In looking at these numbers, they are only relevant in the sense that they share what we have been deeming are most important metrics to date. However, while these metrics are important, they don't necessarily measure the depth and breadth of the work of our movement. As you begin brainstorming, consider these metrics, but also consider what you think FeelGood does best, where FeelGood thrives, or where you could see FeelGood thriving moving forward.

BRAINSTORM

26
LET'S DO THISALRIGHT! Now's your time to get creative. What do you see for the future of FeelGood? And, how does your role on the board contribute to making that a reality? Take some time to generate any and all ideas you may have around what work you want to do and how that work could be done. Draw from your previous vision, and consider the context above to be supportive in setting some context...but try to avoid seeing any of it as limiting. Consider your roles and responsibilities in the broadest sense, and have fun generating initiatives (big or small) that fit into the context of your (and in some cases, your committee's) role. Depending on your role on the board, this exercise may be more or less challenging. There may be things that you are responsible for that need to be done in a specific way - if that's the case, then take some time to innovate/braistorm within that context. The next spreadsheet will be about generating a proposed action plan, and you'll have the time to spell out your specific actions there!

Below take notes on any ideas you generate during the conversation. There are no boundaries here. Go wild!

ex. Use Snapchat & Instagram to share the student experienceInvite students to do an Instagram/Snapchat takeover. Share photos and videos of chapter meetings, the deli, events, and campus in general. Interview FeelGooders, tell their stories.
31
New Chapter Welcoming ProgramFinding new chapters to join and expand our movement is big. Celebration and welcome via social media use, welcome packages, tips and tricks
32
Access to clear FeelGood Values for whole movementReal life examples of living through FG practices and values, blog series, vlogging and youtube channel, local chapter gatherings. As well as determining what it means to be a movement.
33
Create and establish connection between chapters and Board members Break down the feeling of divide between chapters and Board of Directiors. Through continuing transparency from the Board of Directors, listening to what chapters need or would like to see, allowing the chapters to also have a voice and fully contribute requests and ideas. ie. members have oppertunity to have forum or blog site
34
Celebrating chapters achievements and victories/acomplishesExpressing celebration and gratitude throughout the movement for chapters victories and achievements. ie: Random Acts of Gratitude (RAGS), Cheese Wiz of the Month, Thanksgiving gratitude packages,
35
Chapter Buddies Online "penpal" support system between chapters. Offer oppertunity to communicate and bond with other chapters in a more intamite setting. Allow opperunity for chapters to share successes and victories as well as challanges and obstcles with each other. Idea is that by sharing experiences with someone who is in the same stage of journey and age. Note: NOT to replace CIs but work together. Perhaps it may be helpful in pairing with chapters that same CI is currently taking and engaging with throughout the academic year.
36
FLAT Sammie Twins RelaunchBring back the Sammie twins and start up the campaign. Twins are located at Rutgers and W&L University. Create a hashtag to follow social media like instagram. Come up with packaging and converstion questions and activities for when the twins travel and visit chapters. Update: program will be relaunched depending on the interest from the chapters
